Another homerun for Alfonzo...I'm a huge fan of his work.

I actually bought his audiobook a while back and it was very cool to listen to.

Aside from our difference of opinion on the matters of religion, he & I are very like minded.

I think your facts my be a little messed up on this part...he wasn't just walking home from the shops, the report was that he was walking around at night in the rain, peering into windows of houses (in a neighborhood that had a high break-in rate).

It wasn't just a case where Zimmerman decided he was going to randomly follow a black teen.

When Martin saw Zimmerman, he started staring at him and acted like he was reaching into his waistband (universal gesture of making people think you have a weapon)

I would think if Zimmerman's plan was to stalk a random teen and shoot them, he wouldn't have bothered with the whole phone call to the police.

I'm noticing a whole lot of justifications who's only source is a guy who followed an unarmed teenager who he later killed.

The kid was walking the back streets, and an armed man was stalking him. I don't think those two are in doubt.

Stalking is a legal term. There was no stalking.

And as for my opinion, I would have to side with Zimmerman on this. I don't know all the facts, but I agree that if he was stalking Trayvon, he wouldn't call the police, and I know that Florida has a high crime rate, and if I saw someone with a hood on late at night, I'd be suspicious too, but like it was said, it may have been a rainy day

Well he was a security guard right? When I worked security, I had to sorta watch out for suspicious looking people, and my boss would always tell me "Look out for anyone who has a hood on, is wearing a backpack, and who has dark skin". Weird right? My boss was a black dude, but it's standard rules I guess. We're supposed to look for anyone who is fishy looking, or fits that description.

Didn't watch yet. It's my opinion that GZ was acting as an LEO and got in over his head, was getting his butt whooped by an athletic seventeen year old, pulled his weapon and killed TM. Had TM been white, GZ would have been arrested on the spot.

Actually the man facing charges was not a security guard, but volunteered his time as the captain of his neighborhood watch. He wasn't on duty at the time, but describes plenty of reason to have been suspicious of Treyvon.

What I don't get is why these two didn't simply talk like reasonable people, calming Zimmerman's fears by demonstrating legal entry to the place Treyvon was staying, with an introduction to the Captain of the neighborhood watch. Too easy!

Interesting theory that if Treyvon had been white, that George would have been arrested. That would be troublesome.

GZ was a neighborhood watch captain. He was a local resident like TM, with no authority or jurisdiction to follow anyone.

The video mentioned that, but there's another message in the video, of how black people are killed daily by other black people, but none of the black leaders speak about it, but once a non black person kills a black person, then it's all over the media. And how black people kill each other and abort their babies at an alarming rate compared to everyone else.
