God created the heaven and the earth from everlasting, in the beginning of the creation. Man was included in the creation, and we know this because of the man; Melchisedek, which is from everlasting, as said in Hebrews 7:3. Therefore, although man was made in the new earth on the sixth day of the creation; he had been created from everlasting, as implied by Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them from the beginning of the creation.

Strong's H7549, it means:
I. extended surface (solid), expanse, firmament.
A. expanse (flat as base, support)
B. firmament (of vault of heaven supporting waters above)
i. considered by Hebrews as solid and supporting 'waters' above

It is interesting to me that in definition I.A. of Strong's Concordance, the word, "flat" is used as the first descriptive adjective. This, along with the word, "solid" in definition I.B.i tends to make me think of a scriptural awareness of the flat warp of space without time.

Here again, it is interesting to me that definition I.B.i may be a picture of the Spirit of God; moved upon the face of the waters, in Genesis 1:2.
By the way, verse 27 of Genesis 1 must be about man created in the image of God; 1 for God, 2 for man and 7 for God, 1:27. And, "the waters" in Genesis 1, may actually be as said in Revelation 17:15.

You say you understand, but I can't see it in what you write. You always go back to Christian Dogma, which has nothing to do with what Paul has given us in his revelation. Your interpretation is trapped in antiquity. It can't get out!
Paul's message was written for us today, here in the Twenty-First Century.
