This is getting weird

hey guys there is a "non-denominational" church not to far from my house and there membership has recently grown by leaps and bounds since they became non-denominational. but anyway thats not what bothers me. they seem to do some stuff to me that seemed weird. i always just kinda wrote it off. but recently I stumbled across one of there "meetings" and let me say it was scary. turns out they have these "meetings" out in the woods in this clearing and they play a trumpet to signal the start of the meeting or something but its not like they play a song. they just blast the horn. i dunno but should I be worried that they are some kind of cult brain washing people?

It sounds like a smart idea to me. You make it sound like you have something different and special, and you meet in this hidden location in the woods. That would probably have a lot of appeal to people, especially teenage males. It sounds like nothing more than a gimmick to me, but there could be more to it, who knows.

I recommend you bring a camera, or a small camcorder to discreetly tape it so you can document and show us what happens. Also, if there is some funky stuff going on out there a.k.a. cult like you could give to the proper authorities that there are some weird stuff going on in this church. I say discreetly because you don't want them to see that you are recording it. You could say it is for a class project or something. But I doubt that would work.

I am sure nothing will happen and we are just over exagerating. But you never know
