1.) Again, the son of man “coming n the clouds” is a reference to Daniel 7, when Christ, in this vision, would receive dominion, power, kingship, and where all peoples of every nation would serve him.
Daniel 7:14, 27
14And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
that all peoples, nations, and languages
should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one
that shall not be destroyed.
27And the kingdom and the dominion
and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High;his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.’
so, I equate the son of man “coming on the clouds” with Christ’s kingdom, and dominion, in which all peoples should serve him. Which of course occurred in the first century
Luke 21:31-32
So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.
Matthew 26:64
64Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
2.) Your post is kind of messed up, so I’ll have to paste what you typed, as I can’t select it to quote:
Daniel 7:13 (KJV) I saw in the night visions, and, behold,
one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
You omitted vs 13 which clearly says the Son of man went UP to heaven, where the Ancient of days is, and it is at that time He "was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion
is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom
that which shall not be destroyed."
I notice to you omitted the passage from Acts 1 which says
Acts 1:2 (KJV) Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
Acts 1:10-11 (KJV) And
while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee,
why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
These men of Galilee physically witnessed Christ ascending up to heaven, and were told that He would come in like manner as they saw Him go into heaven.
Have no idea what happened in that post, I agree it is very messed up.
“Christ did not say the Sanhedrin would "see" Christ sitting on the right hand of power. Because in Mt. 25:31 Christ says when He comes in glory with the angels, then He will sit upon the throne of His glory.”
"When Christ says "hereafter" He is saying to the Sanhedrin it is because of this very hour that ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven."
Matthew 26:64 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Hereafter - just now:—this day (hour), hence(-forth), here(-after), hither(-to), (even) now, (this) present.
Clearly the Sanhedrin did not see Christ coming in the clouds or sitting on the right hand of power that day. Nor did they "see" this in 70 AD, as the men of Galilee were told He would physically return. That's because that is not what Christ is telling us. Christ says because of this day (hour) the men of the Sanhedrin, like all mankind will see, in the same manner He ascended up, coming again in the clouds in glory.
John 1:51 (KJV) And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
In the same way Christ was not telling Nathanel that from that moment on he would see heaven open and angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. Christ is saying because Nathanel had said "Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel." In reply to Nathanel Christ said "Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these." Because of what Nathanel had said that very moment (hereafter) he would see angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of man.
Luke 12:8-9 (KJV) Also I say unto you,
Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
Per the NT, Christ sat at the right hand of power upon his death, resurrection, and ascension:
acts 2:33-35
Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.
34For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,“‘The Lord said to my Lord,“Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”’
1 peter 3:23
22who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.
Acts 5:31
31God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins
Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.
After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
so, how did the Sanhedrin from NOW on “see” this?
None can see what has not yet happened. However because of that very hour, or that very day, when the Sanhedrin condemned Christ to die. Of course without His death there would be no resurrection, ascension, or returning again.
