Not really. Let me clarify is for you more. I am not going to be a part of an icon war. The moment that the upper management of this site institutes inquisitions I am gone.

I apologize for pressing on this issue--I know it is uncomfortable. But I want to get people on record and in public in case things happen.

Moriah have I done something to you? I certainly don't stick my fingers in my ears, nor do I pretend other points of view do not exist. I would be willing to bet that I know more about most expressions of faith than do most; not because I am special but because I have made comparative religions my academic focus.

As for the recommendation that I leave because I agree with this decision, sorry to disappoint you but I will not do that. As for excluding others from the foot of the cross I defy you to find any post I have ever made that effectively excludes anyone from the cross.

If I have personally offended you in a manner that has deserved your acerbic comments here and elsewhere please inform me so that I may apologize for any wrong done.

With all due respect, because you took some classes at a bible school does not allow you to claim superiority in regards to articles of faith.

Christ stated that he was was looking for people who worshiped in spirit and truth. Why is it that you believe a narrow band of fundamentalist get to define that truth ?

Sure it does. If y'all weren't so scared you'd play on a level playing field. Instead you have to rig the game because you're not competent to win a fair fight.

No "assumption" to it. It's just fact.

His "ownership" does not include the right to violate civil rights laws.

Those of you in communication with this individual are neglecting your duties by not telling him how wrong that is. He owes the members an explanation.

That is unacceptable. The closure of these areas to all is a wrongful act and will be opposed. "But you can still.." doesn't cut it.

Sure. Because the fundamentalists oppose allowing liberal Christians and Non-Christians freedom of speech which they enjoy and they whine when opposing views are stated.

No Christian secure in his or her faith needs that.

Immaterial.

1. I do not appreciate your attack on Hentenza. I know he tries to be fair and objective. For example, he made me change a reference to "occult Mormon temple ceremonies" even though he most likely agrees with me that Mormonism is false.

2. Your appeal to "civil rights" is nonsensical. Even the illegitimate government coercion into the private sphere that you so enthusiastically support does not extend to a internet discussion board for Christians. It does, however, show that the alarmists are correct in stating that the gay rights lobby will not stop at the church door but will seek to impose acceptance of homosexuality on churches as well.

I don't see how your request is contextually relevant to the Scripture I posted?

Look, Steve, if I am forced to forcibly change icons then I am gone. Is that what you are asking? However, if I see people misrepresenting their icons by posting non Christian posts then I am going to enforce the rules of this site. Is that clear?

I guess my concern would be, what is the standard that is going to be used. I'm not trying to stuff you around, however I know there are many people that say I can not be a gay and a christian despite the fact that I am celibate. I would be incredibly gutted if someone was to say "you are not a christian because you are gay" despite the fact that I choose to be celibate.

Do you get my concern?

Such a person would be an ignoramus, so your concern should not be in existance. But to answer your question, the Standard is the SoF which DOES NOT mention Homosexuality AT ALL..

Yes, I do understand and I am not going to be part of a policy that forces removal of christian icons from members that self identify as Christians. My response to CaDan refers to people that choose a Christian icon only to flame God. We have had issues with this in the past.
Tenebrae, let me put your mind at ease that the force removal of icons is non negotiable. Most of current staff would not stand for it.

Like it said on the other thread. YOU have not. In fact from these two responses you seem a rather decent chap capable of responding to the least of these with unfeigned respect and courtesy. Kudos for that.

So no, you have not, not you personally. At least, not that it can recall (as daimonizomai with fragmentary/disintegrating consciousness admittedly you have the advantage here) but it bes havesy them concernings whats by your support of this you empower and enable those who have.

Obviously!!!
Go back and read the Proverb you quoted. Then read your signature. If you remain confused at that point, Ask Dad. ;)
