LOL I would have appreciated a knock on the door! I remember the people who owned our house before we bought it- I happened to drive past that house a lot on my way to my parents house, 'back when'. One year they had an evergreen wreath with red lights on it. It stayed, and stayed, the wreath turned brown, still it was up- and they CONTINUED to light it every day!!! I always wondered what was up with that as it stayed up at least through the summer. That's funny about the wreath LC. I get upset with those who leave their lights up past January 1st-
Fortunate for you I'm not a neighbor or I would have knocked on your door asking, hey do you mind taking that down.
Now everyone knows the truth about me.
I didn't know crows ate egss, but then I guess that would make sense. They are pretty big.
I know once I see the robin, I'll say oh yeah, I've seen them before.
This year, there is a house a couple blocks from us that we walk by. They totally decorated the place for Christmas and EVERYTHING is still up. Giant candy canes on each side of the walk, a big 'tree' outline on the house with strings of lights, fake pointsettias in planters by the door (and this is a really pretty, very well-kept, big brick house). At least they don't turn the lights on anymore but I am really getting tired of looking at it. Guess we don't have to walk down that street... but yet, I know it's still there!
