The poor thing. Mine would be the same (and I'm sure you're sleeping in her room, too) and after a close call like that, I can imagine you're just as happy to not be too far from her, either!
Prayers for continued healing and recovery for all of you. Our babies are precious and need us, no matter how grown up they think they are.
To update things here, our little angel has just been extended an offer from the best school in the area (yay, her!), which is her first major step toward a quality university and vet school. It's very different here, but her work these past years and near perfect grades and behavior have paid off. Thank you, Father!
Add to that, of course, that we are that much closer to getting the house completed and fully habitable before winter. The idea of being so close to the Lutheran sem in Cambridge really is nice and the opportunities and cultural events abound, as well. God has blessed us in so many ways, it would be nice to be able to slow down for a bit so my head can stop reeling. With so much around us to be done, it feels as though taking the focus off it for one minute would be irresponsible.....does that make sense or do I need more of a break from this extreme makeover than I imagine?
In any event, we're swamped with deadlines and details, exhausted and living like gypsies, yet we have no reason to complain; only praise. How's that for a bundle of confusing contraditions?
I hope everyone else is doing OK and I do keep you in my prayers when I get the chance to read what's going on here.
