Back from my 30min at the beach. Feels pretty good.

Zecryphon - you are right, the sun will last that long. I just want to see it in all it's brightness for longer than an hour or two at a time.

Minneapolis forecast for the weekend: rani/snow mixed with the temps being balmy upper 30's for the daytime highs and 20's overnight. Nope - not 90's or above, better bring your coat, hat and gloves if you are use to hot temps.

Bring your mittens! Seriously, there's no telling what the weather in MN will do this time of year. I remember I was there in May and it snowed. But in a place that has winter 9 months out of the year and more lakes than any place on earth should ever have, you just never know what to expect.

Indeed....Kae and I were in deep conversation when my package came.

I need to have my face 12-16 inches from the lamp. I can read, watch tv etc.... But the light is supposed to hit my retina, so I need to look at it now and again. 30 minutes a day for the first couple of weeks, then 15-20 per day after that during the dreary season. I should notice some type of results in about 5 days.
Oh...mine has negative ions jumping out of it too I guess. Supposed to be the same thing as you get at the beach....whatever that means. I figured it couldn't hurt, so I ordered that one.

If you can avoid hypothermia, taking a quick dip in a hole cut through the ice of a frozen lake can be quite refreshing. LOL

Yes, if I put my hand near it, it does feel quite warm, but I don't really notice it on my face from 12-16" away.
