Does anyone know what happened to Seajoy? I've not seen a post from her for quite a while. Hopefully everything's all right...:crossrc:
She's fine. Anymore you'd have to find out from her unfortunately she doesn't come to this forum anymore. I stay in contact with her and her hubby.

Yes, she is doing well. :)

I got a couple of emails today that folks have tried to PM me, but my box was full. Thanks to those who have had concern as to how I am. There are many people here that I miss very much.

I did not give a formal good bye here a month ago when I left, so I'm doing that now. I am not pleased with the changes to CF (or whatever it's called now). I also get too caught up in things around here, and was spending too much time in the forum.

I continue to pray for many of you here. I learned so much during my time in TCL. I have also made lifelong friends that my Lord has so graciously blessed me with. I do not by any means consider my time here as a waste, it's just that it's time for me to move on. God has led me on to different things that He is teaching me and helping me to grow in.

A big thank you to all who helped me while I was here. My struggles with anxiety and depression, and also OCD and fibro, are known to most everyone here. Last year was a hard one, and I was surely blessed with the outpouring of Christian kindness during that time. I am now doing extremely well.

I will continue to pray for you, my friends. I ask that you pray for me as well when you think of me. This is good bye for now...but you never know...I may pop back in the future depending on where the Lord leads.

God bless,
seajoy

Oh, gotta take a break here. Please tell me that the drama teens and 20's have is much more than when we were that age. I am on several boards and this age group seems to thrive on drama.

Think I will go find that wine cooler in the regrigerator.

i am in my 20s and i don't thrive on drama!! but i do know what you mean!!
Two of my kids are in that age group and aren't that way. I guess I am just not use to it because mine aren't. It just seems like there are lots younger people are.

Got a guy on a totally unrelated forum who asks for help and then acts like are horrible. He is having problems with his girlfriends parents. Wants to waltz in and tell them how it is going to be.

You noticed the poor me, victim posturing as well, huh? That will not get him very far in life, I'm afraid, but he seems the type who will have to learn the hard way. I've seen this so many times in our own employees that we won't consider a young applicant any longer. It's simply not worth the frustration, drama and battles.

My stepson and his wife are the same age and there is simply no comparison in maturity level, respectfulness and responsibility.

This guy wants to have the parents respect and trust him when he and the girlfriend have given them lots of reasons not to. He is 21 and she is 19 and both live with parents. Well she is of to Basic Training right now. They have only known each other 2 months and she has been gone 1 of those.

Then we have the young girlfriends/fiancees/wives of guys who's whole identity seems to be wrapped up in their guy being with them and can't handle the separation. They whine "woe is me, my guy is away for two months, I can't live without him." Why can't he call me all the time, stuff like that. What will they do if the guy gets deployed? They better get use to it NOW or get out.

Thanks for letting me vent. I needed that.

I was a bit like that at in high school, but my attention span was so short that the woe didn't last long. :p

That is good. I wish some of these had short attention spans. The bad thing is, I see some of the same stuff in some of the mothers on there.

Then we have the one here who seems to turn things into being about him. I think I am going to try to not come here much in the next few days as well as that one. Take a break from that which is annoying me. Yep, that is what I need to do.

Now if the allergies would just let me get a good night's rest, that would help too. Got the Trustees coming by early to pour cement so I know that will shorten the sleep. Oh well, I shall get through this too.

Life was dramatic for me in my teens (not in my 20's though). I think I was hormonally driven though and I had very high highs and very low lows...uncontrollably and didn't understand it.

Those Raging teen hormones can give one a case of teen angst or manic depression. Fortunately for most, this ends in your late teens. I have about 2.35 years before my oldest hits the teens. I have decided that locking her in her room for 7 years might be good for me, but not necessarily for her.

Heh, I wanna lock my 13 year old in her room because everyone keeps saying how pretty she is. She has high school boys and college boys checking her out and I just want to hold up a sign saying SHE'S THIRTEEN!
