We've been getting them too. Unfortunately we were near Turkey Run camping overnight when the first storm came at 3:30 AM yesterday. Our tent leaks.

It was the second time we used the tent actually It wasn't a horrible leaking situation, but if we stayed there longer, it might have been really bad. I'm glad I brought extra blankets because we used those to sop up the mess.

We used to have a tent, got a little bitty camper now, had to have a potty close by.

We were near an outhouse. The park claimed to have other toilets and showers but the doors were locked. Dunno why! But I wasn't thrilled.

When we went to my in-laws for a family reunion couple weeks ago, we stayed in a tent in their yard. First time we'd ever gone "camping". We electrified our tent--long extension cord for a fan and hubby's CPAP. Got lucky--nice night, no rain. But FIL said it would have been worth it to have us rained out. They really needed rain. Finally got some last night.

I have my RV packed and ready to go after VBS. I'm trying to pack the whole house into the RV but it won't fit. Guess I'll have to go without my golf clubs. 57" HDTV and treadmill........life sure if rough

We first set up the tent and then slept out in the backyard to see how it did (for our first set up when we got it). It's a nice-sized tent actually (12'x18'). We'll probably end up doing that again soon!
