I don't think Quilt Angel and I have ever met, but I have relatives in her congregation (Dad's cousins) and since she and my mother are both quilters, they may have met.
We should change that.

I'll try and keep my beagle from howling too much. ^_^

Where's the fun in that???^_^ Half the fun of Beagles is the 'singing'. We used to have a bi... um... female who thought she was quite the virtuoso.

I found a new tea at Big Lots day before yesterday. It's called Premium Peony White Tea. Good stuff. The only drawback is that it's like Oolong. One must pull the leaves out as soon as it's brewed. Otherwise it has a tendency to become bitter. Kinda like old girlfriends, lonely parents... never mind. Anyway, good stuff.

Anyone for a cuppa? I'll be mother!

Oh, by the way, it has a quote from Proverbs on the box, "Sometimes you can become rich by being generous, or poor by being greedy." Prov. 11:24

OK, so now for a joke I made up, lesseee if it flies on the "New CF" rules...

This RC and Lutheran are scheduled for a formal debate on the merits, or lack of, the medieval RCC

So the RC guy goes first and gives a long spiel but running out of time asks the Lutheran to allow him a little longer, which the Lutheran gracioulsy does. The RC guy runs all over the time limit and leaves only a few minutes for the Lutheran to respond. Apologizing for this the RC guy turns the floor over to the Lutheran, who has been patiently sipping from a glass of water.

So the Lutheran gets up and slowly walks over to the RC podium with the water pitcher in hand. He kindly says "My dear brother.." and hurls the cold water at the RC. Before the RC guy can say a word, the lutheran hands the RC a dollar bill and adds: "...will you indulge me?" and walks off stage.

Have I causht something of the essence of Luther here?
