For our Confessional Lutheran family, we now have a new home. Go to this site http://conservative-christian-forums.com//YaBB.pl and register. Our forum is called "Concordia-Confessional Lutherans". A few of our ranks have already joined. A number of conservative folks from CF have joined the forum and there are a number of different denominational subforums as well. If this place becomes too much of a nut house (as it undoubtedly will) then at least we have a forum where we can fellowship and discuss with the fear of harassment.

I signed up today but only got to read the coffee thread so far and posted Hi in there. I don't know how often I'll be in there to post within these next few weeks as I try to read and learn about all the changes here and how to mod now since it's different. Easier I think though.

I had a reply typed here and lost it. For some reason, with the changes, this site loads v-e-r-y s-l-o-w for me, or it may be a coincidence. I was away for the weekend and just this afternoon was able to get logged on without the site down type message. Looks like lots has happened.
DaRev, The girls are adorable. I am going to check that link out. If it is a site kink of like TCL, I might just like it. Fun, fellowship as well as good theological discussions.

One of the statements of Erwin's that bother me is that if one says they are Christian than they are. It seems to be that there are organizations that say they are but they aren't.
I hope we can keep TCL the way we have been. I joined here for Christian fellowship and come to TCL when I want to get away from the world.

Wish it were that easy. I'm married, and my yard isn't mowed, nor is the garage cleaned out (as evidenced by my car in the driveway and not in said garage and little clover blossoms popping up all over).
Is there a point I'm missing?

Erwin's new rules state that if a poster says they're married, they are. No more Biblical definition necessary.

Got to get up early. Pastor and I have a round of golf tomorrow early. We decidd that there will be a 3 stroke limit. In other words we quite counting after 3 strokes
