In general, people hate change. Yet it is inevitable. Erwin Loh owns this forum and he can do anything he wants with it. I say we make some lemonade out of the lemons we have been given and maybe add a little vodka or rum to make us feel all better and then do what we can to make this work for us as Conservative Lutherans.

I don't mind change if it's for the good. Some of the changes listed don't bother me at all. A couple of them are horrible. That's my problem.

The policy change is really drastic...but it gives US a chance to create our own environment here if we stick together and get the strong enough numbers to be able to hold the vote on what we want.

I agree LilLamb. I remember for a while when the ELCA people were on here all the time. The LCMS/WELS people have kind of taken over the discussions on the Regular Lutheran Forum. I say if we band together we can come up with our own rules and keep the atmosphere of good solid Christian debate alive we can make it work.

I haven't seen Bridget (Kagome Shuko) post in the TCL forum for quite a while. I think she has been keeping to the ELCA forum more.

I agree with Scott, lets make lemonade and maybe add something to spice it up.

Let me repeat here, we need to start a poll and elect some of our own members as moderators so when the times comes we are prepared. May I have some volunteers please, hopefully maybe some of the folks who are already on staff and some new faces as well. We need to do what we can to protect our own little corner. I'll start a new thread to discuss this and start a list of names.

They're my daughters girls. I visited them over the 4th.
