Thanks everyone for your prayers. It's been a hard day, as I'm also so tired because I had to sleep in a chair last night. I couldn't lay down.

The pain is slightly better, but seems as though it's not heading in a good direction the last 2 days.

My husband just mixed cement in a wheel barrow yesterday. Perhaps he could give you some tips on the 'old fashioned' way of mixing. He put footings in for new deck posts. I worked the hardest, though...I had to hold the string to make sure things were straight.....probably where all my pain is from today!

We may be doing some cement work soon too. We need to put up a shed in the back yard. (The shed won't be cement, just the floor)

Oh I know all about mixing by hand, done it lots, but my elbows won't take the strain anymore and I would have to build a box to mix in. Still hoping the fix my Grand Dad's old mixer. Its about 60-70 years old or more. Grand Dad would be proud to know I'm still using it. He and I used to mix a lot of concrete.

MMM....my husband brought home some extra hot, flaming BBQ chicken over the weekend!! He had gone to the Cubs game with his friend and they stopped for dinner afterwards. Whoa, it was HOT!

I made hamburgers, and they were just about done when my dear husband got a call back to work.
I'll have to warm them back up when he gets home.....and give him that last cold brew, too!
