apparently there is a FULL MOON phase in progress - this place is starting to really get on my last nerve, i may have to take a break and keep away for a while.

Sorry? What's wrong with cakes and weddings? Of course, I'm always game for talking horses, but this is the wrong forum for that.;)

Ah, I thought it might have been something like that. This is one reason why you will only find me here in this sub-forum. I got tired of the circular logic and foregone conclusions that ignore Biblical truth. I prefer to rake and shovel what they serve out of my horse pens into the compost heap.;) The worst ones (for me anyway) though, are some of those who claim to be Lutheran, of all things...:sigh::scratch: But don't get me going on that!

The previous two days I was working at a friend's pony farm. She inherited a lovely place in town from her mother. It was originally a combination horse ranch/greyhound training centre. Very nice place in need of a lot of attention. So, it got two days of mine!;) I took down two dead oaks (great firewood to keep me warm this winter), and I still have to do cleanup on it. Had a wonderful time surrounded by ponies and a beautiful farm. What more could one ask for?;) Well... temps under a hundred degrees would have been nice...:hot: It's hard to work when one is feeling like melting at any given moment. Other than that it was a wonderful two days!

The hubby and I discussed getting cake from the cake shop we got the wedding cake from. I want raspberry and lemon cream filling :)

That's what was in Robin's and my cake. The bridal cake was perfect after a year in the freezer. The kids loved it too!;)

Hi, Good Morning. We're going to Mentone, Al in less than 2 weeks, can't wait, wish checkout time was later than 11 am so I could visit a church though. The weather has been cooler and I don't like it. My aches are acting up.

feeling kind of sad today. My DD (21) is in the process of moving out. She's going to live with her bff, so that's good. She is very responsible (job, car, school, all that jazz), but it makes me sad to know I wont see her every day. :(

How far away will she be living?
