I just watched the last episode of Last Exile. And it was an amazing episode, very beautifully done. But they had to kill off my favorite character. *cries*
Ok, I don't necessarily mind when they kill of a main character at the end of an anime series, but why do they always manage to kill of my favorite character. I don't even mind so much that they killed off my favorite character, but more so that they destroyed the character. For the last few episodes of the series the character quickly was reduce to a pitiful being. From the standpoint of a story, it was a very interesting thing to do. But they took a really intereseting character, did a complete 180 on his disposition, and then destroyed his mental facilities that when he dies you can't just help but feel sorry for him. *sigh* I think I'm gonna go cry now
