Like I said before, it's only forever if we remain in Him. If we stray away from the path, only gloom awaits.
For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and, a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:20-22
"But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All his righteousness that he has done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he has trespassed, and in his sin that he has sinned, in them shall he die." Ezekiel 18:24
Are you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh? Galatians 3:3
"I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. Surely his salvation is near those that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land." Psalm 85:8-9
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite to the Spirit of grace?" Hebrews 10:26-29
"He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white clothing; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." Revelation 3:5
"Christ is become of no effect to you, whoever of you are justified by the law; you are fallen from grace." Galatians 5:4
"Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent." Revelation 2:5
Yes Exactly.
I was reading psalms earlier too, Psalm 95.
Verses 7-11, speak of people being condemned.
It also speaks of the rebellion, no one can say those who rebelled were not under Him Or else they had nothing to rebel from.
