I think it will be better if you read the author's statements yourself, because you seem to be very closed minded.
So, you claim someone has figured out how or where or why evil originates.

But you're going to keep it to yourself?
You know of course that this means you didn't understand the book or the point the author made?

If you did, you'd be able to state it.

And you don't know if I have a closed mind or just know I'm sure of what I'm stating.

No, its a public domain. But you must do your homework.
My dear myst...
I've been doing my homework for 40 years.
How long have YOU been doing your homeword
that makes you state that you've discovered something no other theologian knows.

objection ii

If there is more evil than good in intelligent creatures, there is more evil than good in all God's work.

Now there is more evil than good in intelligent creatures.

Therefore there is more evil than good in all God's work.

Ditto for the above Answer.
It tells us that there is more evil in some creatures etc etc

What does the AMOUNT of evil in any creature have anything to do with WHERE or HOW it got there?

If you did your homework, how can you not know about the most prominent work in the field, Theodicy by G.W. Leibniz? Maybe you spend a lot of time, but obviously not effectively...

Its not about "how long", but "how well".

Why are you criticizing me instead of sticking to the topic?

The book you've read is a waste of time.
It does NOT state the origins of evil.

If you read other books so quickly as this one, I do not wonder that you do not find any answers...

I checked out your age.
You're still very young.
Keep looking because one day you'll find that you know nothing about evil or where it originates.

Instead of putting ME down,
why not just state your idea if you're so sure of it?

You're saying man created evil..
or he creates evil because of his choices.
That's an old argument that does not work.

First of all, man does not create....only God creates.
Second of all, WHERE does this evil man makes come from? It's in man?
Great.
HOW did it get there?

The source of evil is in the limitation of any creature. From angels to a cell.
Who limited the creature?
If God is perfect, how does He create something imperfect?

Man makes imperfect cars, tools, everything...because HE is imperfect and so that is passed to what he makes.

Are you saying God made mistakes and created inferior beings? How is this so if God is perfect?

As you said, God is perfect. If He would create something perfect, He would create another God.

Any creation is limited, because God only is without any limitation.

This limitation of creation is the source of evil.

You're right that evil in IN everything.
It invades every aspect of life, including nature of course.

So a cell is not perfect and has limitations.
Why?
So an angel fell from grace way back when.
Why?

Did he fall because of an evil instinct in him...

or did he create the evil instinct by falling from grace?

In either case,,,WHERE did evil come from that caused him to fall?

As you said, God is perfect. If He would create something perfect, He would create another God.

Any creation is limited, because God only is without any limitation.

This limitation of creation is the source of evil.
Won't work.
This would mean that God purposefully created something with a limitation.
This would make HIM the author of the evil.
This is not possible.

The whole purpose of the story of Adam and Eve is to show that God made everything perfectly...at the end of a creation, God said: It Is Good.

Then Adam fell.
WHAT made him fall from grace if God had made everything perfectly and it was good?

This is good; complex but good. It addresses the assertion that God's motivations were amiss. Sort of goes along the lines of "Who are you to reply against God. Shall the thing created say to the Creator: why have you made me this way?"

I think it's also pointed that it explains that the ultimate good that God will establish; supersedes the "inconvenience" of the current presence of evil. That's absolutely true!

And in the end, ultimately God "gets His way". He conquers what has transpired and He planned it intentionally to do so.

It's a genius plan - it really is!

Ironically, the fact that God is successful in this, is seen by the reality that we are still here. Yet, it's also noteworthy that by the nature of what God is - He can not fail, so it's kind of not really an argument at all. LOL.

We know God is good and God is omnipotent because if He wasn't, we wouldn't be here debating these questions on this forum!
