I shouldn't say this...but if you really want to make a splash, make your signature, "Looking up.  Praying with the Saints."  I swore that place off for Lent last year but from time to time, I "drop" in.

Ah hah hah! :D

I keep thinking about trolling the board...I was going to write a post something like this:

"OK so I went to a Catholic mass because I heard that I should listen before I judge them. I got there early and a bunch of people were repeating the same prayer over and over again to Mary. I listened for a while and it sounded unbiblical, but I felt something strange...it could have been God calling me. Or maybe it was Satan! What do you guys think?? Will Satan try to draw me in just from going in a Catholic church?"

But maybe I will refrain from trolling even RR :)

Nope, never posted at RR. I looked, threw up, and left.

My scars are from TBTSNBN. I tried there, I really did. Kirkland watched my struggle, and then invited me to the Pizza Parlor. I posted there for a bit, and fell into a space-time continuum warp and ended up at the King's Tavern. KT was like falling in a bank of cotton candy.

I was "VOW" something at TBTSNBN. Not sure exactly what...God has been gracious and given me amnesia for much of my journey there.

Peace be with you,

If he did, it would suggest that God finally convinced him. "Okay, you can have your old job back, but let's see some *hustle*!"

The RR puke smileys are disgusting. If you look closely, stuff comes out of the smiley's nose as well as mouth, and afterwards there is leftover vomit on the smiley's mouth. It's digusting, and it's also disgusting how often the most vicious anti-Catholics use it when attacking Catholic doctrine.

It's one of the favorites for those who really trash the Church. I've considered any time they use the 'pukey' it means their post is VOMIT.

Also seems anything can amuse them, especially one of the other's posts which degrades Catholics.

Shema and Christine got into it big time and Christine banished her. The funny thing? Shema runs (or ran) an anti-Catholic website called the Lion of Judah. It was just as bad but only had 1/10th of the members RR had.  So why they got into it, I dunno.

You want to get a kick out of things, do a search for KC's posts when Mark "of the Beast" 20az would attack him.

I was looking in some old threads and I about fell over. Lordschild replied with a statement that said something like,

"Dear God. That is the most disgusting post I've ever seen. HOW DARE YOU IMPLY WE WORSHIP THE APOSTLE PAUL!"

My sides are hurting. Oh the irony........

I posted at Shema's board a little, joined by my wife. Mrs. would go off on some tangent that had nothing to do with the OP and a couple of the posters got completely confused. I had a few exchanges with Shema, but never got into a real bad arguement. Her board is now closed, as she wasn't there after her son's death.

Yes. I went in. Apparently I had registered there back in 2001, made all of 4 posts I think, and never looked back.

I read through the Mary thread. And saw that posting anything would be pointless. I also saw the very warm welcomes I was given, and I wonder how many will continue to welcome me when they figure out that I am Catholic. I have to wonder if any light shines there at all.

My advice to one and all: don't waste your time over there. There is a level of seething hatred of the Catholic Church there that is absolutely pathological, and they wouldn't listen to anything positive about Catholicism if the sweet Lord Jesus Himself came down from heaven and told it to them personally. I posted there for a while, and believe me, I know whereof I speak.

I will be polite, and restrict my comments to saying that I only have two words for the folks at Ruptured Ready: an adverb and an objective case pronoun.

And the horse they rode in on, too. ;)
