Dear me. Replete with references from the Skeptic's Encyclopedia, or whatever it was he was quoting from.
It's apparent, VOW, that you and I must have rattled his cage, or else he wouldn't be singling the two of us out for his loving kindnesses.
Must be we represent a serious challenge to his thinking, or he wouldn't be working so hard, and getting so angry, in trying to disprove us. Let alone providing cites from the sources he's using.
I sense another individual with an anti-Catholic pathology, one who has a compulsion to debunk Rome, at all costs. I went into an analysis of this over at Ruptured Ready once; it seems to be a sort of variant on the obsessive-compulsive disorder, in which the mere mention of anything Catholic causes the individual to become quite agitated, and to immediately start issuing rebuttals to all manner of Catholic teachings. If he is backed into a corner by knowledgeable Catholics, he can become violent and nasty, as did our friend here.
I'm not sure that we have a case here quite as advanced as some of the Ruptured Ready denizens; they have a true disorder. Anti-Catholicism constitutes a major part of their psychological makeup, and represents a form of stability and reassurance to them.....take that away, and they get seriously vicious, because that is their lifeline to all that is right with the world. LH isn't quite that far over the edge, but there seems to be little doubt that he does have a serious problem.
It bears close watching.
