I came in here to drown my sorrows...tried to stick my head in a bucket of water to literally drown them, and the water in the bucket was frozen, so all I got was a knot on my forehead.

I can't do ANYTHING right tonight!

I was getting beat up in the End Times - Current Events board, in the "priest scandal" thread. Somehow it evolved into a discussion (read: fist fight) over Papal Authority and Apostolic Succession. THEN someone came along and said, "It just sickens me the way Wolseley and other Catholics try to make excuses for what those priests have done."

Somehow, smashing my head into a bucket of ice sounded like more fun.

VOW, that's one of the reasons I stay out of those types of threads. I just don't have the patience for it. I would have lost my temper and said something I shouldn't have, like "D- in reading comprehension."

VOW, your profile says you are from southern CA. I used to live in San Bernardino, Lancaster, and the Edwards AFB area until I moved to KY last August. You know I got a thing from the CA DMV saying I am overdue on my renewal of my registration there? They know full well I live in KY now and yet want my money still? What is up with that?

I work in San Bernardino, I live in Rialto.

CA DMV has been using inferior, contracted-by-somebody's-brother-in-law computer systems for a while now. I've read they finally decided to stop paying for alleged "fixes" and will junk the whole mess and start all over again.

Did you re-register the vehicle in KY and send back the plates?

Go ahead and send in the money. We're still getting skinned on those blasted electric rates, LOL.

Yes VOW when I moved here I registered in KY. So all I need is to send back the plates? I should call them today or tomorrow.

Small world. Did you catch the thread between LilyLamb and me about St Brigid's Church in Vine Grove, KY?

My daughter was born at San Bernardino Community Hospital. LOL, I graduated from Eisenhower HS in 1971, she graduated from EHS in 2001.

Yeah, send back the plates. They technically belong to the State of California. Or you can sell them on eBay for three bucks a pop to license plate collectors, and write to DMV and tell them "they got lost." LOLOLOLOL.

You can't argue with an opened mouth and a closed mind!!!!!

and.....don't go wrestling with pigs.....you get dirty and it annoys the pig.

I wasn't even a twinkle in my daddy's eye yet!!! My sister was in 5th or 6th grade. I think she and my brothers must be close in age to you, Steadfast.
