John, I have asked this before, but you never, ever answer this. Where is the break in life forms between the present world and the old world. The life forms just gradually grade from the ancient times to the present ones.

I have answered this question before. The "break" takes place at the end of the last ice age. If you look at Noah's flood, then you will get a clue as to HOW God does things. He will use a "remenant" of the old world, to repopulate the new world. He tells them to be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth.

Genesis 1:22
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
