So my daughter and I are going to Disneyland for two days and.....we find out the Pirates of the Caribbean is closed down for a couple months. I’m....not...happy! :sigh::scratch::sick:
Awwww sorry!!! You should come to Disney World ... and stop by and say hello on your way past!

But seriously, sorry about that. When my daughter was young, she liked that one so much, we bought the hook at the gift shop at the end then I made her a full pirate costume at home.

I'm sorry y'all have to miss it. :(

Just thought we heard someone in distress. It was just our neighbor in dress clothes, in his yard, on the ground, preaching in an undeniable Appalachian hack-preach voice, at 10:40pm.

People can do funny things. Did I tell y'all a couple of weeks ago I saw a girl in the store who - was a cat? Ears styled from some kind of head piece and she was walking around meowing.

I was very tempted to bark at her.

You watch, that’ll be the next cool trend—-transbiology. If I feel in my heart that I’m a hermit crab, then I AM a hermit crab! ^_^

I was blown away how Disney panders to the LGBT sodomy club. Mickey Mouse eats rainbow colored, pictures of two men holding each other, rainbow logos, and the park was littered with gays. My daughter said it really bugged the heck out of her....sad and sick

if anyone wants a hilarious read, I suggest militant atheist Sam Harris' Letter to a Christian Nation. dude seems to forget the JC that started Christianity is Jesus Christ, not John Calvin.

Question of the day, cinco de mayo edition; is it possible to eat a crunchy, tortilla shell taco and not tilt your head, at least a little?

If one reads other sections of this forum, you may encounter quite a few with the same misconception, many of which make no claim of atheism.

Ive heard, speaking of tacos, that some people don’t like cilantro. If true, this California boy declares death by firing squad.
Ah my dear brother. :(

It's a sad fact. I have tried to eat cilantro because it was a staple for my husband. Even grew it for him. Then I discovered (per some science article) that it was found there is a gene in some people that makes cilantro taste like soap to them. That's exactly how it tastes to me. I can eat it, and have many times for his sake. But would prefer not to. It ruins the taste of food for me. My daughter is the same.

I sometimes grant cilantro dispensation. I’ll see what I can do. No promises....:sorry::sorry::sorry:
