How is it hatred to ask Red to back up his claims with evidence rather than just condemn? Or did you miss where Red said the IJ is not spelled out in Scripture?

The Investigative Judgement is not detailed out in the scripture, so you cannot prove it beyond a reasonable doubt as you are trying to do.

Non-Trads who are actually foolish enough to believe they are going to convince the biased Trads of anything by what they post are to be pitied, because they have wasted every single minute they have spent typing in here.

I am 100% in agreement with you sentipente.
I was told by a friend who said. “let the Bible, speak to you and don’t let people get in its way.”
To do so leads us into the belief of those with preconceived ideas.

I would think that something so important as to be a pillar in the church would be actually spelled out in Scripture. But Red keeps speaking more of later revelation as the key to understanding it, whether through Mrs. White, or later to come. Now this is not the first traditional who has said this sort of thing. Jim also said that he did not think the doctrine was as clear as it should be given the importance we give it.

I of course go further and say it does not match at all what is said in Hebrews 9-10, and is mainly a product of historical development. The point is that Red makes no attempt to answer objections, give Scriptural reasons, etc. He simply says that folks are of another spirit and making a mistake, leaving the truth etc. That is not going to help me reconsider. I perceive it as nothing more than a well-meaning appeal, but without scriptural substance.


Why does he not back up his view with Scripture? Because it is not detailed in the scriptures he says. Why do you think his friends are leaving his study group and the church over these issues? There are no answers for them.

The Adventist IJ contradicts the Bible in Hebrews, which shows Christ as fulfilling the type of presentation of blood, in parallel with the yearly ministry of the high priest. And it in itself did not come from biblical study but a vision in a cornfield. No wonder then that people have trouble finding it spelled out in Scripture.

Now, will there be a judgment on the saints? Yes. I have a thread going on that now. But Red is quite right that our distinctive Adventist IJ is not "detailed" in the Bible.
