Oh are you now? ^-^

Yep :) I played some of The Settlers yesterday. It was so fun! I want to play it again, but I think that may have to wait until tomorrow.

Well I found some old Genesis games. :D

Time to bust out the ole:

Shining Force, Sword of Vermilion, Skitchin...... etc.

I also found the ole Home Alone game.... Its on now. :D

I never played Shining Force but the Bible teacher in my high school used to talk about it (some kind of really old school RPG series, if I remember correctly?)

Good thing about youtube........ there is ALWAYS someone that has played it and recorded it.

Shining Force was awesome! :D
Yes, it was awesome. :D

To me it was one of few that were better than Final Fantasy games of the time.

I also found Sword of Vermilion which, for its time was my favorite soundtrack of the videogames of its time.

beat resident evil 2 today tooke me like 5 hours lol.

Aw, man. 5 hours? You suck. ^_^ .... Just kidding. It took me like, 20 total hours of playing time, I think, when I first tried to play it. That was my first Resident Evil experience ever, though, where I had no idea what to expect, so I guess I can see why. Strangely, after a week or two of borrowing my neighbor's copy of Resident Evil 2, I finally beat it on the same week where my parents had two beautiful girls in their mid-to-late twenties from my home church come babysit me while they went off on a second honeymoon trip to somewhere in Mexico. Good memories, I must say. :D

I have to admit, my parents were really awesome to not give it a second thought, leaving me as a young teen who only recently discovered late-night Cinemax, alone in the care of two college-age women for almost an entire week. ^_^

Sorry, I always just start remembering weird little things associated with first-time gaming experiences. I don't know why.^_^

... Whoa. That good, huh? Because classic Final Fantasy around that time was well nigh beyond reproach. :D

Perhaps it's available on Steam somewhere? I should check on that, because Steam games are almost always very cheap even when not on sale, especially really old stuff.
_____________

EDIT: Yup. Sure enough, it's available for 3 lousy dollars. Heck, why not? :)

(To be sure it's understood, everyone, I know I have been out of work the last few months, but, don't worry; this is still my own money I am spending, here, not my mother's or anything. :) I know that sounds a bit paranoid of me, but, one thing as an adult that I would certainly hate to be thought of is a lazy moocher.)

Oh yeah my dad would just buy games for me he thought i would like. Thats how i ended up with games like Silent hill and Resident Evil when I was like 12. Good times I knew kids who even when they were like 16 couldn't play m rated games.

I love the game, however its not my favorite. (I think it was a close tie though, its been a LONG time)

My favorite would probably be either Chrono Trigger or this one game I cant for the life of me remember(It was an obscure game for super nintendo.)

Chrono Cross was sadly a horrible game.... I DID like the intro though.

The game wasn't horrible, but the way it was put together - yes. Why they thought it was a good idea for the princess to be all pirate like? No idea and a bad idea. I couldn't stand her accent.
The ending however was sad. Great music, but sad.

Well, maybe thats what it was....... I just remember hating it having the Chrono name and being that disappointing.

Ya know Swanny you seem to have played all the games I did growing up. :p

So, what obscure SNES game is it thats my favorite that I can't remember? :p
