Here is a chance for one of those thread games where people list things. Add your comment to the list of what can be described as human selfishness.
Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. I'll start with an obvious... THEFT
Disagree. You may be stealing for a good cause. Selfish isn’t something you do but what you are.I'll start with an obvious... THEFT
It is simply putting oneself first. Ask Adam and Eve.I think selfishness is the desire to have more than everyone else.
It is still gain at another's expense, not your own.You may be stealing for a good cause.
Yes. Such as stealing bread when your family is starving....where have I heard from that before? Hmmm....Disagree. You may be stealing for a good cause. Selfish isn’t something you do but what you are.
I think selfishness is the desire to have more than everyone else.
People using EBT or other benefits when they have tattoos or piercings. (Yes, I've heard this one before. I don't necessarily agree, though). Here is a chance for one of those thread games where people list things. Add your comment to the list of what can be described as human selfishness.
Elaborate?People using EBT or other benefits when they have tattoos or piercings.
But it’s not selfish. Stealing can happen for selfless reasons. Don’t confuse selfishness with doing harm.It is still gain at another's expense, not your own.
Such as using their income for entertainment purposes rather than buying healthy food. If that makes sense?Elaborate?
Dunno if I would call that selfish. That’s reasonable behaviour. Man cannot live on bread alone.Such as using their income for entertainment purposes rather than buying healthy food. If that makes sense?
I agree to an extent.Dunno if I would call that selfish. That’s reasonable behaviour. Man cannot live on bread alone.
Not only is it gain at someone else's expense, but it is another example of selfishness... self-justification. Theft over humbling oneself and begging? But it’s not selfish
Yes. I thought perhaps because they made themselves unemployable due to the tattoos and metal.Such as using their income for entertainment purposes rather than buying healthy food. If that makes sense?
No, not necessarily.Yes. I thought perhaps because they made themselves unemployable due to the tattoos and metal.
