"The Secret" revealed

A few weeks ago I started seeing ads in various places about this "Secret" thing. I became interested and looked into it. Well--what I found is that this is nothing more than the New Age philosophy (the love of man's wisdom) on 'you are god' nonsense.

So fellow Christians, don't be fooled by this new attack by satan.

We really need that holy armour on each day don't we!

I have noticed that Christian Forums web site is featuring "The Secret" as an advertisement. This concerns me because from what I have read about it--it's spiritualism--New Age philosophy. I wonder why a supposed Christian web site would promote this kind of satanism?

You are absolutely right about it being New Age.

But it shouldn't come as a surprise that they would promote this, since they also allow for the promotion of many other things that are completely contrary to what Christianity is all about.

I have come to recognize that CF really isn't a Christian forum, but merely a place for people to discuss what they believe with others.

I was just about to post that my dear friend Imana has a thread about this in GT, and then I saw her in this thread!

It's true, the author encourages people to rely on themselves as a god, and not on the true Creator!

I never go over to the GT and had no idea that someone else had noticed this and commented on it.

I myself think its absurd to think theres NON-christians on a supposed Christianforums. We as SDA are safe from prosecution or persecution as looong as we have no flaming or what not. I have heard of spiritualist churches being burned to the ground before. Most don't even advertise or have fancy churches. This is the "secret" we were warned about. OOOH scrambled prophecies of conjuring demons who work miracles what NOt. praise JESUS for HIS promises.

Before we got rid of our TV earlier this year I remember that most all of the shows had some kind of spiritualism, i.e. Medium, the ghost whisperer,etc. I know there was more but I forget. Also it seems that most movies even the ones that are supposed to be "wholesome" comedies and such have spiritualism all throughout them. Could it be Satan is preparing the world to recieve Him as a spirit of a dead person? Just a thought.

I not only think satan is grooming the world for his great deception--I KNOW he is! Harry Potter books are targeting the little ones and parents are assisting him in his effort to steal their little minds. Oh boy--what are they going to say when Jesus asks them, "Where are my lambs I entrusted you with"?

The newest kid's movie by Pixar is about the ghost of a chef leading a RAT (of all things) to his restaurant to mentor his son into being a great chef as well.

A dead chef and rats cooking in a kitchen, for children's entertainment. Yeah.

Oh my gosh! See how satan gets us while we are still kids? This is why God commands parents to be their guardians against this kind of influences.

And Honor, the really sad part is that most Christians might notice that several hundred rats cooking food for people is just WRONG....but they won't realize that the dead chef part of it is the worst part!

And of course the rat and the dead chef will be very lovable.
