Are you saying the scripture is not true?

Are you saying that Jesus went into the house to speak with another crowd? If so, where, and why do you say this?
Did the disciples not approach him in private?

Whom was Jesus addressing in particular?
Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them. Matthew 5:1, 2

Was it not his disciples?
Matthew 5:
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
These are parables also, aren't they?

The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John Revelation 1:1

Can you please read John 1:9-19 and tell me if John is not there receiving a revelation, in vision, given by the angel sent by Jesus, who is speaking with him?

I did, in this post.

How does it leave out that information?
The angel tells us what the lake of fire is - the second death. The second death. Does he need to repeat it three times? No.
He does not need to explain the "tormented day and night the smoke of their torment goes up forever where they have no rest day or night" meaning, and changing his words wont make it mean what meaning we formulate in our mind.

The lake of fire is still the second death.
Agreed?
I do not know what I am butting into here, except disagreement. From my opinion I offer, Strongs 3793 can mean multitude, but it can mean a number of other things, including "rabble". Jesus spoke to the rabble in parables but not so to his disciples.

Lake of fire is a symbolism; second death is not a symbol; there is the first type of death (physical) and the second type of death (spiritual).

I'm not sure what you are saying, exactly. Sorry.
Are you saying the Lake of fire is symbolic for the second death.?
In other words, the angel used the Lake of Fire, as a symbol, to represent the second death?

Are you also saying that there is indeed a physical death, which the first death, but the second death is not physical, but spiritual?

I expect that the people communicating 2000 years back understood what second death meant; Lake of fire, oral hieroglyphics, of their semantics of the Hebrew mind or Greek encoded Hebrew are Adjectival phrases, expressing alarm, magnitude, emotion and so on, to the concept. Much is missed, gained and lost in translation often.

I have an understanding of the first death death which everyone dies and this happens when we stop breathing; and from where resurrection is possible. The second death happens to some after the second resurrection; and from this death not future resurrection is possible. My use of physical and spiritual are to do with my illiterate vogue; neither appear to be Hebrew concepts.

For the majority, it's going to hurt.
For the few, there will be rejoicing.

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Revelation 22:
6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

Jesus did tell us this before. Matthew 7:13, 14

I have an understanding of the first death death which everyone dies and this happens when we stop breathing; and from where resurrection is possible. The second death happens to some after the second resurrection; and from this death not future resurrection is possible.
From this second death, not even death will return.
So, our understanding of the second death, seems to be in agreement.
The second death is final - the total end of death, Hades, those not found written in he book of life, and Satan.

My use of physical and spiritual are to do with my illiterate vogue; neither appear to be Hebrew concepts.
I'm not sure what you mean, but I'm sure it has meaning.
Nice hearing from you.

Rev 14:9-13
I see warnings and those who do not heed that warning face God's wrath
Thanks.
Do you see anything else?
We were focussed on the use of the term death, in Revelation.
Do you see anything in Revelation 14:9-13 related to that subject?
Verse 13, for example. Can you please tell me what that is saying about death.
Thanks.

It seems you wish to take my hand and lead me down a certain path.
Vs 13 speaks of physical death...they are blessed. They've received their reward.

Well, I wouldn't put it like that, but yes, I do want show you a path that could be missed, and has been by many. :)

Vs 13 speaks of physical death...they are blessed. They've received their reward.
Thank you.
That "certain path" was seen by you, wasn't it? I just showed you, that's all. No forcing, or leading you blindfolded. ;)

Revelation 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

The verse says, they will rest.
We are expecting them to wake up at some point. I hope this is the same with you.
When do they wake up?

According to John, "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. " Revelation 20:4
He continues...
5 ..."This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years." Revelation 20:5, 6

That's according to John.
I'm not going to take you anywhere else, but here.
Your eyes would allow you to see, that it is at this point, that they are physically made alive.

If you feel a tugging elsewhere, that's not me pulling your hand. It could be a number of things - your heart, which the Bible says is treacherous (Jeremiah 17:9), or your mind, which the Bible says, the Devil blinds (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4). Or, uncertainty, that can be cleared up, as pieces of the puzzle are put in the right place.
I'm hoping it's the latter.

If you believe I missed something in Revelation, please point it out.
With that stone turned over though, I'll give my "out of this world" comments. :D

Verse 5, is actually, as you recognize, separate from the verses 4, and 6, which I am thankful, many Bible scholars recognize - hence the brackets in some translations.
That's because verse 5 refers to another kind of coming to life - the figurative one, which you were referring to.
This can be seen in verse 12. "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

You would notice that it says
  1. the dead are standing before the throne
  2. the dead are judged out of those things which were written in the books

The physically dead aren't standing before the throne, being judged. The figuratively dead are. That is, those who have not come to life, according to the purpose of the 1,000 year rule.

Since no offspring of Adam is sinless, dead or alive, all those who are in the μνημεῖον mnémeion: a memorial, a monument who hear Christ's voice, and comes out (John 5:28), are still sinful.
Hence, during Christ reign as high priest, along with those who rule as kings and priests with him (Revelation 20:6), mankind will have 1,000 years without the Devil around, to grow to the perfect beings God wants his human family to be. That is, come to life.

After the 1,000 years, those whom have not taken opportunity given them during that period, will not have their names written in the book of life, and when Satan is loosed at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ, they will be carried along with Satan, to final destruction - never to be seen again.
That is the second death.

Foreign, but simple. What are your thoughts?
