I agree, we suit up and show up and pray as we feel we are being led. If we miss that leading, nothing will happen. But I also believe that too many times the 'Charismatic church thinks it's just about faith, but it isn't. The bible is explicit about negative emotions; "fear not", "be anxious for nothing", "forgive or you won't be forgiven" etc. And when we disobey and allow our minds to dwell on these things, we put ourselves under a physical curse which manifests as dis-ease in our bodies. Then we Crazimatics (and the Dumbdamentals ) want to pray the prayer of 'faith' for them to be healed. When instead, we should have waited for the 'gift of knowledge' or the gift of wisdom' to be manifested and give us revelatory input as to why God will NOT HEAL in those cases. WHY?....because He would be going against the very laws he established for us to follow so that the "diseases of Egypt" would not come upon His people now, just like in the OT. Such has happened to me personally when a gal wanted prayer for her fibromyalgia and two of our elders prayed for her first with the prayer of faith. That's when The Spirit told me she had unforgiveness for some sister at work. So I got up and went over to pray for her, all the time thinking; "I'm going to be in trouble with the elders after this." But instead, as soon as I prayed what I felt God revealed, they both felt the presence of God in my words over 'their confession of faith' and both prayed an AMEN of Agreement.

Do you only go to the lost sheep of Israel to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons, and not the Gentiles, as Jesus commanded the twelve?

The Great Commission is to make disciples of ALL nations. These are the sheep "not of this fold" in John 10:16--"But I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock, one shepherd." His sheep are His followers; His disciples are His followers....

One thing though, you should keep the door open for the idea of the annointing, if you don't like it somehow, it can happen our ideas and experiences can mislead to think something is not in a way, but it actually is, i know a preacher who preachs about the annointing and he is legit, i have 1st hand experience with him, some things can appear strange to us or that they are not from God, but for other people those things are a reality.

We are not talking about the Great Commission. We are talking about the commandment to "Go nowhere among the Gentiles...but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel...and "heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons" (Mat 10:5-8).

You were talking about the original 12 disciples. You said, "Do you only go to the lost sheep of Israel to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons, and not the Gentiles, as Jesus commanded the twelve?" I'm saying that later He commanded His disciples to make disciples of all nations.... Then later, the gospel was preached to the Gentiles.... I'm commanded to go and preach the gospel to whoever will listen and to heal the sick...!

But when you follow Jesus command to "heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons", as you say you do, do you go only to the Jews as he commanded and not the Gentiles?

Jesus said, "I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father." This is what I live by.

And this what, every creature are not only the jews:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Now can you answer my question?
SD, you're so obstinate. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I am to do the works that Jesus did. He healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead!!!!

But you said you obeyed Jesus command to "heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons" which he made to the twelve disciples in Matthew 10 because you said it applied to you and every disciple of Christ. Do you go only to the Jews, and not the Gentiles which was part of that command?

Jesus said, Don't go to the Gentiles.
Kinda stuck, aren't you? He said that AND He said a few other things.

Edit: NBB nailed it with the scripture he quoted!

I don't think I'm the one thats stuck.
Matthew 13:13--"For this reason I speak to them in parables, because looking they do not see, and hearing they do not listen or understand."

Edit: I guess Paul didn't get the memo! He raised a Gentile from the dead.

Edit 2: This is what happened in Ephesus--"God was performing extraordinary miracles by Paul’s hands, so that even facecloths or work aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits came out of them." (Acts 19:11-12)
