You will find an entire aisle of vodka’s with those flavors in any given liquor store. They’re not stocking them to slow sales.

Our Apostle Paul says,
"All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." (in 1 Corinthians 6:12)
A main problem is if you get under the power of what you drink. It seems to me that people drinking different alcoholic beverages have been able to become alcoholics. And even if ones drink what is not considered to be highly toxic because of the alcohol concentration . . . they can get killed in a DUI accident.
If you get clear of the alcohol, still we need to find out how to relate in love and live in submission to God. And this is can be quite difficult . . . impossible without God through Jesus.
I saw a movie with something like seven convicts out west who were on a mission which would involve gunfighting; maybe it was to rescue someone across the border in Mexico. Once they were on their way, they got in trouble, used up all their water, and their skin could have been wetter with sweat in that desert, than they were. One guy had never been sober, in all his life. And there he was, lying on the ground caked with mud from the dirt and sweat, when he ran out of booze > and then was when he became sober, for the first time ever. He lifted up his head from the ground, and said, "So THIS is what it's like to be sober!"
If we have been depending on booze for our feelings that we want . . . adjusting to being sober and dealing with people can be not so nice. It can be scary enough to drive a person back to boozing.
Plus, ones who have dried out can isolate themselves only with those who "understand" them. But Jesus says,
"if you love those who love you, what reward have you?" (in Matthew 5:46)
To become able to love any and all people, be generously forgiving, and share as God's family with other Christians . . . this is part of our most beneficial and worthwhile challenge to find out how to submit to God in His peace. No other challenge, really, is enough to truly satisfy us.
Finding out how to love is included with learning how to personally submit to God in His peace . . . with His creativity for how to love each person. There is constant seeking and finding in this, discovering how God will make the way for loving each next person.

It's the methanol that does that. Whatever the type of alcohol, if it's distilled badly and if there's still some in the product then at best you'll have a hangover. Too much and it can damage the optic nerves (it's where the term blind drunk comes from). A lot...well, it'll kill you.
Luckily it's the first runs off the still, so if you toss a certain percentage (it smells like nail polish remover) and just keep the middle of the run (the hearts) then you're just left with the good stuff. Which is ethanol.

The legal definition of vodka is that it must be a clear alcohol, with no odour and no taste.
Don't know wwhat you've been drinking. Ouzo perhaps?
