When God actually gives a number you use that because it's in the text.
but when God doesn't give a number and people try to calculate based on "hidden meanings of numbers" is what I'm talking about.
Jesus gave signs, not dates.

The only one I can think of is in the Olivet when He directs us to the Abomination spoken of by the Prophet Daniel. And from there we get the 1290 days. From the time that the "daily" is taken away, and the Abomination set up, it's 1290 days.

So if we can get the timing right, or the correct identification for the events, we will have a "date".

Remember Daniel's original question for these things: "“My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”
