The stranger(sry, can't spell his name)seemed fairly trustworthy. Still, one couldn't be sure...
Out of the corner of her eye, Zalika saw something move.

((Wait a sec, Ulf is off in the woods probably devouring some poor and helpless creature, not near camp. I mean, I guess this is alright, but I kinda wanted Vili to struggle with Ulf some more before ending the curse. Oh well, your rp, do whatever...))

ooc: I thought this was just in your dream state and that Vili was so consumed by his hunt that his own identity was beginning to fade and so thusly in his dreams he became the quary which he wished to kill. This by no means means that the wolf is physically dead. The man Mathonwy "healed" clothed was Vili- because I thought he was struggling in the way I already stated. Srry if I got cornfuzzled.

Lessien, just to clear up what Mathonwy did, 1) everyone is in a dream state, and so this is why time doesn't exist and mental symbolism occurs 2)Mathonwy removed the insecurity from Zalika about her race which has harmed her psyche, as much as she would let him, and took from Vili, who I thought was so consumed by his hunt and hate for the werewolf, as much hate from him as he would allow, and showed him the truth (to be determined by Paladin) symbolic in the removal of the fur, the exposure of the bare skin. So that this wouldn't shock Vili, Mathonwy reclothed him with his cloak, which, in the dream state, still looked like his regular armour to everyone else. I am srry for neglecting to tell you but Mystics of the Waters' main power is to absorb the sorrows and pains of others in order to heal their spirits. Srry again for any confuzzlement.

Also, this is our rpg- if you don't like anything I post, plz tell me and I'll work it out with you just like you would any other rp'er.

Kayden continued to walk closer to the group and realized that they were sleeping. She stood near them with a bewildered look on her face. "Why are they sleeping out in the middle of nowhere? and without a guard?" she said to herself. She looked around, wondering if she would see a hidden guard somewhere, but she didn't see anyone.

The roc's eyelid half-opened. Rocs don't dream; but he had seen his merchant family in their sleep before, and they had never mumbled and tossed about this badly. What is happening? he wondered. Then he noticed another humanoid close to the group and stood to his claws. "Who are you?" he asked.

((Just came to me - the roc is about a head higher than the tallest humans, standing straight. If you need it to be any bigger or smaller just say so.))

((Okydoky, I posted in Vili's bio that he accidentally cast a spell on himself when reading something he shouldnt have. He doesnt know this, but whenever he goes to sleep, he BECOMES a werewolf, Ulf. Ulf and Vili are two completely different people, and the way that the curse could be ended was if BOTH Vili and Ulf knew that the transformation took place. So technically, you showed Ulf the truth. But, there isnt really anything wrong with his spirit, since he just does what comes naturally. So he knows, and now Vili needs to learn in the morning. Thats why I said Vili wasnt at camp. He turned into a werewolf and walked away.))

Ulf eyed the newcomer strangely. "You mean... I'm just an accident that some stupid human made?!" he growled. Perhaps Mathonwy could understand, but all anyone who didnt speak wolf could make out was a growl and a bark. "Thank you for nothing, human!" he snarled as he let out a howl that was inhuman, and at the same time, far more eerie than that of a wolf. He was sad, but he was also VERY angry. His black eyes filled with hatred as he ripped out of the bushes and loomed over Zalika, ready to devour her, and rob the human he became in the morning of a friend.(please dont kill, remember, Vili is on the other end) ((if this doesnt work out, lemme know.))

Tenkana quickly went in front of Zalika, defending her from the...whatever Ulf was. "What is he doing, Mathonwy?"

((Werewolf, Ulf is a werewolf. Really big wolf, stands up kinda like a human does. BTW, Ulf is ancient nordic for wolf.))

Ulf snarled at Tenkana, trying to scare him off as the scruffy fur on his neck stood up. Seeing that he wasnt going to run, he clawed at Tenkana's shoulder and then tried to bite his neck.

Zalika jolted awake, still as a cat. She leapt out of the way and landed safely on a low-hanging tree branch. From there, she could see Tenkana fighting with a...something.

meh! ok, lessien, Vili is attack you in your dreams, hence if you woke up then you would be out of the dream and Vili, or ulf rather, would be off in the forest- i think- i'm uber cornfuzzled here- soldier is still in the dream state, and vili i don't think ever woke up from the deep and uninterrupted sleep that the Forest of the Mystics bestows (see earlier post); it has been determined that rocs don't dream and hence the roc and ellesar's ranger will be talking, while Vili, supposedly untransformed because he still sleeps a sleep under the spell of the forest, Lessien's character, and soldier's characer are still with Mathonwy in the dream state; in summary, the only ones awake are the roc that cannot dream and who is thusly uneffected by the forest's spell, and the ranger, who wasn't sleeping to begin with. In the dreamstate posts beforehand, Vili had transformed in his dreams into the werewolf, and Mathonwy had removed the illusion (symbolic of physically stopping the transformation and mentally revealing the truth, but only to Vili's sub-conscious, as he wouldn't be emotionally able to handle the fact that, although it was his fault, he had slaughtered his village). Hence I don't think he would re-transform into the wolf, hence the whole attack thing is improbable. So, if it's ok with everyone, we'll just post as if no fight broke out, everyone except the ranger and the roc are still dreaming, vili and zalika have been healed (see previous post) and all is very calm. I'll post the remainder of this later- I have to go to latin class now

((Whoa....what? Two things, Vili PHYSICALLY transformed into Ulf, and there was nothing symbolic about the transformation. He does it every night, and there was no Vili in the dream state or in the physical world. And since Ulf came about BECAUSE of the fact that Vili was asleep, then if I read your thing and understand it properly, Ulf isnt in the dream world, and he is REALLY about to eat Zalika. Yes it was in his dreams, but Ulf is for real, and he is physically walking around. I had him closer to camp, since you were speaking to him, so that he could reply or whatever. Also, there is no way to get to Vili, even subconsciously(that includes dreaming) when he is Ulf. Once Ulf goes to sleep and transforms into Vili again, you can fill him in. Once Vili learns about what happened, the spell will be undone and Vili and Ulf can become one.

So from what I understand, and from what I have posted, there was no Vili to clothe or to reveal anything to. Ulf spoke/growled to Mathonwy, perfectly awake. If you can put him to sleep, you wont have to worry about him, as he will become Vili(fully clothed, dont worry). Otherwise, since Tenkana is still asleep, Ulf is ready to eat Zalika.... lets please try and clear this up fast, as my head is starting to hurt ))

ok disregard all of the dream state posting up to the point where Mathonwy- in all the minds of those who are dreaming, extends his hand to Tenkana. Then I suppose Ulf wakes everyone up with his attack, pulling them out of the dream state, and pulling Mathonwy out of their dreams, waking him up back in the Citadel (in the dream state, Mathonwy extends his right hand and introduces himself, all those he is talking to turn their heads as if distracted, and they are pulled in a grey blur backward, Mathonwy being pulled in a blue blir away from them, the forest dissolving, and then they wake up). Hence, no one was healed, and the only thing anyone will remember about Mathonwy is his appearance, his name, and his voice. Note: Mathonwy is in the Citadel, approximately 3.5 miles away from the party. Hence, he is unable to know what is going on outside of the dreams of those he encounters while he is asleep. This ignorance of Ulf's presence, and the lack of power to do so, prevent Mathonwy from putting the werewolf to sleep. So, you guys are on your own.

ooc: For future reference, Mathonwy will be inactive until the group gets to the Citadel as he has to stay there with his mother (see intro). There he'll find you. The one exception is if the group ends up not being in the Citadel by the next time you all go to sleep; then he'll visit those who do dream in their dreams. He's not yet powerful enough to cast super-long-distance spells (outside of dreaming), so again, you're on your own; after all the poor lad is only sixteen for crying out loud .

Lessien, when you woke up were you still in cat form? For all those wondering, faeries of most any sort can transform into animals at will. I'm just suprised that you, Lessien, didn't choose to turn into a goat .

Tenkana awoke to find a great werewolf about to attack the waked Zalika. He immediatly launched a small fireball at the werewolf, hoping to merely chase it off without to much of a fight.
