The Plight of Ostentero

[Paladin Dave]

Ulf howled in agony as he reeled backwards, smoke rising from his singed fur. He did just as Tenkana expected. He turned and ran, looking for an easier meal, if his alter ego's friends would come to hard(just to simplify things, can we have it that he heard the truth from Mathonwy? I am not sure exactly how it worked, but I suppose since he is the sleeping form of Vili, he could be affected by a spell of that caliber...)

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

Tenkana relaxed. With the werewolf gone, he went towards Zalika. "Are you alright?" He said nervously.

ooc: unless ulf was dreaming while he attacked Zalika, Mathonwy couldn't reach him. Once Mathonwy meets Vili he'll reveal the truth in due time if you wish

 

[Paladin Dave]

((okydoky. However, lets hope we dont fall asleep again before then...))

 

[Lessien]

Zalika nodded. "I'm fine." She jumped down from the branch and landed on her feet, then changed back to her normal fairy-with-fangs appearance. "Are you?"

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

"Yeah, other than a heart attack, I'm alright." He said. Then, he remembered what he had dreamed. "Hey, did you have some strange dream about...?" And he then paused, for he wasn't sure how to describe it.

 

[Paladin Dave]

Ulf ambled through the woods, stopping to lick his burns every so often. He managed to catch a dear and eat it for his nighttime meal before the sun started coming up on the horizon. He had a routine life. Wake up, hunt, go back to where he woke up, go to sleep, repeat. However, every time he woke up, it was somewhere different. It confused him to no end and he gave up trying to figure it out a looong time ago. But now he couldnt go back, or he would get burnt again. So he decided to look for a nice comfy spot to stop and go to sleep in until the weird people left.

 

[Lessien]

"A man wearing blue and gold? Kind of.....weird?"

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

"Indeed. We will have to be more alert. It may be an omen of bad luck or misfortune...or a premonition of someone we are soon to encounter." Tenkana's thoughts were wild when he finally realized: "Wait a minute! Where is Vili?"

 

[Lessien]

Zalika nodded in agreement. She looked around. "I don't know...where is Vili?!" He might've run away...after all, he HAD been surrounded by a werewolf and two half-vampires. But who'd run away in the dead of night and not come back as soon as the danger was gone?

 

[Ellesar]

((ok...I really don't know what to do...))

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

((Hmmm...Perhaps you could have your character come out of the wood and introduce herself.))

"Perhaps he left while we were sleeping to search for that werewolf. He did say he was searching for it and so maybe he went looking for it." Tenkana theorized. He then added, "I'll make sure he knows that he should've stayed put to find the werewolf when he returns."

 

[Ellesar]

((she's not in the woods. she's standing just a few feet from where you guys were sleeping.))

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

((Oh...Okay. Hey, I just watched "Napoleon Dynamite" and listen to me as I warn you: WASTE OF TIME!))

Tenkana then turned around...and nearly flew against the nearest tree, for standing there was an elen warrior. "Who are you?" He asked, exasperated.

 

[Paladin Dave]

Ulf had fallen asleep after laying in his hollow for a few minutes and he transformed back into Vili. His fur melted away and shifted back into Vili's cloth and fur clothing. Vili yawned and stood up, surprised to find himself in the middle of the forest. After looking around desperately, he spotted the camp and wandered over. "Hey, how did you manage to drag me over there without waking me up?" he asked sleepily as he entered the camp.

 

[Ellesar]

((I'm assuming that you're talking my char Soldier...))

"I'm sorry if I frightened you." Kayden said quietly. "I didn't mean to."

 

[Soldier_For_Christ]

Tenkana moved forward, but was still suspicous. "It's fine. Just remember next time to announce yourself. So who are you and what are you doing?"

((Hold on a minute, Dave. I'd like to get greeting with Ellesar's character done so we may get on with the story and her be involved.))

 

[Paladin Dave]

((Understood. ))

 

[Ellesar]

"I couldn't exactly announce myself since when I walked up, all of you were sleeping." Kayden said quietly. "My name is Kayden, and I was on my way to the Citadel because I had heard of quest from someone."

 

[Lessien]

Wow......lot of quests...... Zalika studied Kayden. "Um....hi....."
