[Soldier_For_Christ]

A troll charged ahead of the pack. Tenkana launched a fiery ball at the troll, killing it with a single shot. The rest of the trolls remained still, fearful for their lives. Tenkana put his arm out again, and this time, the trolls gave him the diamond. With his job completed, he took off from the ground and flew back to his tribe. He was greeted by applause from the entire village. The Chief walked up to him and stared at him in adoration and praise. "You have retrieved the Diamond of Elders. The Clan owes you so much, for now it can be handed down the generations to our great-children and they will know what the world once was like." He stopped and looked to the crowd. "This is the same man who, when he first came to the tribe, most of you doubted whether or not he would ever help us. Look at him now and know that he has fulfilled all of my expectations." Tenkana's conscious thought was drowned away by the applause of his tribe. He felt as though he could burst from excitment. His first mission outside the tribe had been a success.

The Citadel drew nearer, and Kuillia's body began to unlock from its flight configuration. He now felt the sharp, cramping tiredness that he was used to now: somehow he never noticed in flight, but once he touched down he had to rest at least for a few hours before taking off again. Now that he was seeing the Citadel with his own eyes (instead of in books) he began to dislike it: the way all those buildings were jam-packed together, with barely a dot of green in between, seemed so unnatural.
There, he thought, a little forest beside the Citadel which hasn't been touched yet by humanity. I'll just fold my wings and recover...

Zalika gathered the necessary provisions for her quest: maps, food, water, extra clothes(all black, of course.). She wouldn't need a cloak; being half vampire she didn't need one, and she could just use magic to keep herself warm, anyway.
As she left the Citadel, she saw a roc flying towards the city.
((I don't know what it's called....you can make up a name, I suppose...))

((where's Zalika's character thread? curious. I'll just keep calling it the Citadel, too lazy to think of a name I'll have trouble remembering. haha. Besides, the Citadel sounds cool. Citadel. Citadel. haha. so your character going to meet the roc in the forest or something?))

Shrugging, Zalika plunged ahead into the forest. It was small, but untouched. She loved it.

 

[Paladin Dave]

Vili stalked through the forest, his ever vigilant eyes scanning the treeline as he held his war hammer and shield steady, ready to strike at or defend against any surprise attacks. His soft leather boots padded quietly across the grassy floor of the forest and his wool and fur clothing whipped about in the wind as he ran. He froze in place, thinking that he had heard something. Something was running, humanoid by the sound of it. His quarry was humanoid as well, and was said to be swift, but he was not sure just HOW swift, and the steps of what he heard seemed a bit lighter. Shrugging off the concern, he made his way over to where the creature would be in just a few moments. With a snarl, he leapt out in front of it and swung a warning swing with his hammer. His face paled, as he realized that he had encountered not a large beast, but a woman. "Please, forgive me! I was mistaken, I mean you no harm!" he shouted in his Ordkish accent(pretty much like a nordic accent.), raising his weapons in the air as a gesture of peace.

Zalika screamed and drew her sword. Once she saw that the stranger meant no harm, however, she sheathed it. "That's one way to make an impression!" she said in her slight vampire accent.

 

[Paladin Dave]

Vili smiled sheepishly and looked at the ground. She was obviously some form of fairy, or other mystical creature, but atleast she wasnt a werewolf. "Forgive me, good lady. I have been hunting for a long while. I am ashamed at the number of rabbits I have struck at in panic." he chuckled. "I apologize for interrupting your travels. I am Vili, son of Olaf. Where is it that you are going?" he asked with a bow.

 

[Father Niko]

Astador and the four othere Dragon Guard froze as they heard the scream, they looked at each otheres and like one man they started to run toward the source of the scream, their movement was fast but not so silent not that they needed to be stealthy right now.

Five big and powerfull looking men burst out from the undergrowth and nearly landed on Vili but they managed to avoid him, they were armed and had the look of some one that you dont want to mess with, four of them had black scaled armor and black dragon shaped helms, while one had red instead of black. Astador looked at the two, one was human while the othere was fairy.

 

[Lessien]

"It's alright," Zalika said. "He just...scared me. And I screamed...." She tried futilly to explain what had happened.

 

[Father Niko]

Astador made a small gesture with his hand and the four otheres spread out behind him with weapons drawn for there was something disturbing about this fairy and Astador wasent in mood to find out that she was a dangers being.
"Really, why then does your explanation sound hollow" he said.

 

[Lessien]

"Really! I-it's fine. I'm just not the best at explaining things to complete strangers." If her accent was bad before, it was terrible now. She couldn't have sounded more like a vampire if she had been saying "I vant to suck your blood."

Tenkana walked through the forest a great distance from his village. He searched for a new site for a village when he heard talking. He hid behind a large bush and began listening to the conversastion.

 

[Father Niko]

One of Astadors hissed wenn he heard the accent and the rest had noticed it as well, Astador hissed back at the men and said some thing in the tounge of Dragons and the one that had noticed Zalikas wierd accent said something back but made no move. Astador then looked back at Zalika "I think you should explain your self for your life depends on it at the moment, Daughter of Night" he said. Two of his men were watching the man that was there as well.

 

[Lessien]

"I mean no harm! Really!" He knows I'm a vampire, she realized with a sinking feeling. "Yes, I am a vampire. But only 1/2 vampire. I don't even like blood!"

Kuillia was swooping out of the sky when he suddenly noticed that his to-be landing spot was populated by humans. Or humanoids; 7 of them, and most who would not take well to the feel of his razor-sharp claws.

But he was already easing into his rest physicality, and suddenly the ground became a blur to him... the last conscious thought, a gruesome breakthrough of his primal nature into his mind, was: I imagine how they would have tasted?

Astador looked at Zalika "1/2 Vampire but no one can denia the nature of one self" he said.

Tenkana was surprised by what he was hearing. Another Vampire Hybrid! Even though she wasn't the same kind of hybrid as he was, he still decided that it would be his duty to help her, whatever kind of danger she was in. He left from behind the bush, drew his crystaline sword, and said, "She may be a half-vampire, but I am, too. It would wrong for me to abandon a possible relative of mine."

 

[Father Niko]

A long hiss came from the armored men as a man appered with his weapon drawn, Astador looked at the new arriver "Really now boy and why would you thing that she is a relitve of yours" he said. This was getting worse now for the Forsaken had no love against Vampires and their spawn.
"And if you step up with sword drawn then it means that you arent a peace full spawn of the Night" Astador said to Tenkana.
