Any article that starts with millions of years old, thats where I stop reading.
A very sensible move. It's so easy to get an education these days by accidentally reading an interesting article about well validated research. Don't take the risk. Close your mind, your eyes and your ears, and you should be OK. [If all else fails, just remind yourself that it is a huge conspiracy by atheist science (along with most Christian denominations) to spread lies and deceit, based on assumptions and speculation. You'll feel better almost immediately.]

I mean they couldn't even get things right with Coelecanth which was supposed to be extinct a mere 50,000 years. And you all think they got it right in the muti-millions?????

They find dino blood vessels and collagen, and are willing to throw out everything they thought correct about the scientifically proven life of biological matter, as long as the dates themselves are not questioned, which processes are based upon assumptions, not actual experiments as per biological matter and decay!!!!!

And you wonder why we shake our heads incredulously.....

A correction, a question and a comment.

First the comment. Excellent rhetoric. It could probably fool anyone unaccustomed to critical thinking.
The correction: The coelecanth was thought to be extinct during, or at the end of, the Cretecaeous, not 50,000 years ago.
The question: Given that no fossil coelocanth had been found in strata younger than the Cretaceous and no living examples had been found, why do you think it was a mistake to think it was extinct?
Back up question: do you prefer to rely on supposition rather than confirmed observations?

  • By definition, no apparent, perceived or claimed evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts the scriptural record. Of primary importance is the fact that evidence is always subject to interpretation by fallible people who do not possess all information.

The earth being that old doesn't contradict it though. Just the Ussher Chronology.

Yeah, I know. That's a quote from AIG's Statement of Faith which answers the question Zoii posed on comment #3.

If only it was where you stopped posting as well.

But could you explain why you think your opinion on the subject carries any merit, given you stopped reading the article after word 4?

Soft tissue Dinosaur blood vessels and collagen were due to an natural iron ion preservation technique that was only recently discovered. This is NOT evidence for a young earth . Non avian dinosaurs died out over 60 million years ago

If you start with a lie you end with a million lies.
