Christianity has recognized universalism as heresy for thousands of years.
stop right there.... no.... it didn't.Your truth came from the same
I've never seen anyone refute this next statement.
"The Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge"
by Schaff-Herzog, 1908, volume 12, page 96
German theologian- Philip Schaff writes :
same as above.

The source is false, so there's no need to refute it. This is perhaps the most common error for people today, (as always?)...
They go with, or build upon, sand.
Not so.Proof? Calling a source false does not make it false. You should know that.
Not so.
Most sources in the world and on the internet are false.
If they are not proven true, they remain false, or at least untrusted - sand, nothing to build upon.
p.s. IF a source results in and teaches a false teaching, it is false.
Why ?Well then, we just need to determine which teachings are false, and which true.
Why ?
Going from "Just believe it" when believing something false (already proven false),Why? Because we might need to get beyond "Just believe it."
Nor likely will you see the proof anywhere, unless first turning to Yahuweh for His Way and His Granting Understanding.Already proven false? I did not see your proof.
Finding something false, does not mean that you can nor should call something else that is true false, nor call something else that is false true as done with the heresy of universalism.Already proven false? I did not see your proof. Dogmatic pronouncements do not cut it with me. As I said, I consulted the KJV, rich in Hell theology and language, and found it to be false on that issue.
And you are false too, just like your 'Johnny come lately' theological position. A theological position which has simply morphed from the false apostasy denomination which preceded where all denominations were birthed from. Do you not see that? How can you not know, that the foundation your 'Anabaptist' POV stands on, goes back to how many different morphs in mainline Orthodoxy. The source is false, so there's no need to refute it. This is perhaps the most common error for people today, (as always?)...
They go with, or build upon, sand.
Too bad you no longer believe as I do , it would be well for you, instead of being tricked.WE USED TO BELIEVE LIKE YOU JEFF. We look back, and know where WE WERE WRONG. You stand there and judge us as one who thinks way more highly of himself than he ought. I feel sorry for you.
Finding something false, does not mean that you can nor should call something else that is true false, nor call something else that is false true as done with the heresy of universalism.
Consult who ?
Does any man lack wisdom - let him ask God.... and not expect God to grant anything to someone who is double-minded (someone who only 'asks' God, but does not want to know what God Says- they want to continue in what they think in error) ....
Actually that is not true Laz. Paul did mention 'hell' but the false pen of the scribes that Jeff believes in had to cover it up, because....embarrassingly enough for Jeff's theology, Christians have been filling it for 2,000 years. Let's see if we can find it.BTW, First Corinthians 15:24-28, the furthest out in time the Bible mentions, the Kingdom is fully reconciled to God. Paul wrote of reconciliation, but he never wrote of hell.
When I say Jeff above, of course that means 'should the Lord tarry'...AND if Jeff is truly born again, of course. But then, that applies to all of us.
