No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok some of you know I think alot in terms of music. Some days certain songs pop into my head for who knows what reason? And I DO love music so...I had a thread awhile back and cannot find it now, but I thought I would start a new one for posting whatever we want regarding music. The last couple of days we have been discussing SRV on other threads that have nothing to do with him :D but anyway......

So this morning this song is in my head. Don't know why...it's not one of my favs but I don't mind it. Haven't heard it on the radio lately so I really don't know where this random thought came from but here it is

Michelle, I would love to see your collection of instruments that belonged to your late husband. Someday I'll share why I decided to get out of the music business just as I was starting to make it on the touring circuit.

Well now, here's a thread I can really sink my teeth into! :D

To me music has always been the language of the world and I've always believed that any song your hear will remind you of some point in your life!

This is my daily song that I play each morning while I'm waking up and I play it each night before turning in. I can't think of another song that says it any better when it comes to loving the Lord!!!

Yes I listened to it the other day and it is a very nice song.

Sometimes something someone says (writes) makes me think of a song. Could be a commercial (all my exes live in Texas ;)) could be like in the zombie thread someone said something about not being afraid of zombies and it made me think of Ghostbusters "I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" LOL or it could just be a random song that popped into my head for God only knows what reason but one thing I do know (well more than one actually ;)) is that music transcends language boundaries and it is very powerful.
That and I LOVE MUSIC! See now I am thinking of the Sound of Music movie :D

I'm a sucker for that good old fashion gospel music and I think this gentleman is really good at what he does. I met him thru my model railroading and he sings, plays, produces and records his own music videos. He's no one famous in the music business but I really enjoy his music. I am not taking anything away from Mr. Penrod because he did a fine, fine job at that song but, this has always been my favorite version of that song? Funny? Whenever I listen to this version, I get chills & cry every single time and I have yet to understand that???
