CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Umm...Anakin Skywalker? Sorry, HW, but I don't think Anakin had Red hair. I might be wrong, but I doubt it. I mean, I can kinda see where you're coming with with the red, but...wouldn't dark brown or something like that work, too?

Umm...I just wanna double check with you guys, but how about when we are deciding on the new people to bring to the Lounge, we all take a vote on it so that we will have all of our names listed out and next to each name, we have listed who's voted and what they voted so that right now, it would look something like this:

AA101: Not Voted
NoWorries: Not Voted
As far as the votes required to allow a person to join The Lounge, I need some feedback. What do you guys think?

I'm so burned up right now. I tried to tell some people the truth about evolution in the Bible. And this asanine person tells me that i'm bearing false witness, and that i'm not going to heaven. He tells me what i'm saying is lies, and that i need to do my research! He didn't know half of what he was saying! Aargh!

Arrgh, I hate that, too. You try to tell someone something that isn't a part of their beliefs and they automatically say, "Oh my gosh, your not a Christian, you're gonna die and burn forever!" Yeah, Yami and a few other friends of mine on CF have complained about such things as well.
