This is true as well. Many kids our age didn't receive the motivation they needed from home to be open-minded to the point to where now it's all but impossible to get them to expand their horizons. Add that to the fact that the school system is just terrible and you spell disaster for this generation.

Yep. No one wants to be the one to step forward, not even in Band anymore. Didn't used to be that way...

Sounds about right. That's a shame since band was probably the only thing that was going really well for those kids.

Well, there are a few left...but I'm afraid that they too might begin to step back.

Yeah, pretty much. Good thing, too because we need the upper classmen to be good examples for the younger ones.
