CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nuh uh I saw it first!
The only name I've come up with thus far is the "Ecology Alliance". To me it doesn't sound that great, but I could be wrong. Any other recommendations?

We also need to set some objectives. However, before we do that, I'd like to mention what I'd like to do as our first project. We can have a trash drive where each person-members and nonmembers-can pick up trash, count the amount of items they've collected, and tally it in either a special thread or they can just send it to me in a PM. Haven't decided on the goal, though...

Yeah, but...well, I haven't seen him and don't know where I'd find him. I haven't seen her either, come to think of it. She works with that deaf kid, so I bet that doesn't require a lot of after-school work...
