It really has to do with going to church on Sunday instead of Saturday. Ellen White prophesied that the Roman Emperor Constantine making Sunday the day of worship a law is the Mark of the Beast, which ties in with Revelation 14:6-12.
Who is quoting Ellen White? I see no quotes from her on this thread only God’s Word.Ellen White obviously didn't read Revelation 13, then.
God gives us free will, so you don’t have to, but disobeying a commandment of God is considered sin
Do you not do dishes, or go shopping, garden work, or housework?
God separated the seventh day from all other days Genesis 1-3, Exodus 20:8-11 According to God only the seventh day is the holy day of the lord thy God in which He also commanded us to keep it holy.
Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
This scripture was not considered necessary to show you were a Jew, let alone of the Hebrew nation.
Yes, that is correct according to God. Exodus 20:8-11. The others are days to do our work and labors. Exodus 20:9. You’re not really disagreeing with me because I am not the one who wrote God’s commandments, God did. He wrote it with His own Finger than stored His holy law in the Most Holy of His Temple.I am quite sure the Lord is happy with being worshipped every day. And if only one day is holy to him, that implies the others aren't.

I see. ThanksRead the post by MMXX, just before mine.
You might recall it says God created the world, not just the Hebrew people. If we all do not fear (respect) Him what good are we to Him?This was given to Hebrews who were previously slaves and rescued from that by God, their Saviour.
Jews being one of the 12 Hebrew tribes, Moses himself was not a Jew but a Levite. No one was a Jew when the Scripture was given - but the Hebrew slaves were those who were rescued miraculously from Egypt by God; saved by him, led to Sinai, given his word and a covenant was made with them.
The Sabbath is observed over two days, from Friday evening to Saturday evening. Would not Saturday 0001 till Saturday 2400 be the Sabbath? Afterall, God rested on the 6th day not on the 5th and 6th day. Thanks in advance for the clarification.

No of course not.
Jesus validated, and summed up, the 10 commandments by saying "love God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself."
The New Covenant is based on, and sealed by, Jesus.
He commanded us to love as he loves. He said "come to me and receive eternal life", and "this is my blood shed for many for the forgiveness of sins".
He did not say, "now you are God's people, go back and obey all the commands of the Old Covenant, which his people could never keep anyway." Nor did the early church ever teach this.
That which benefits self.. self being what makes us contrary to the will of God
And not only occurs at different times in different places as the planet spins, but the length of the days grow and shrink with the seasons. Yet at the time of the scripture and before there were no calendar days or weeks or months. So in our time today Sabbath starts from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.
God wrote the New Covenant Hebrews 8:10, Jeremiah 31:33 and God’s laws are now written in the heart, which of course includes the holy day of the Lord thy God and 4th commandment.
Jesus kept the laws of His Father and never came to destroy God’s laws John 14:15, Mathew 5:17-20 Jesus came to magnify the law Isaiah 42:21
Which is why the Sabbath is still a commandment in the New Testament Matthew 12:2, Luke 23:56 and why Jesus kept the Sabbath reading scriptures in the Temple as was His custom Luke 4:16 and Jesus telling us the Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27
I noticed you did not provide scripture in your post so how does your opinion compare with the Word of God on these really easy to read scripture below:
Exodus 20: 8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
Isaiah 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight The holy day of the Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, (how can you possibly argue the Lord's day is the first day when this makes it so clear which is the Lords day)
Mark 2:28 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
There is no scripture telling us Sunday is the Lords day or God’s new holy day. Which is why the Sabbath will continue for eternity to be God’s chosen day and not the first day. Isaiah 66:23
God bless!
That is true, but what does that have to do with this topic or my initial response to you? There is not scripture that mention 'Trinity' either!
That is not true at all and you would have to deny a lot of scripture to make that claim as well as the Greek meaning of κυριακή ημέρα. Please read the OP linked here. As shown in the OP the Koine Greek of "the Lords day" is κυριακή (kyriakós; G2960) ημέρα (hēméra: G2250) simply means the day belonging to the Lord or the Lord's ownership of "the day". So the question was posed what day from the scriptures alone does the Lord claim ownership of? Jesus answers this question in Matthew 12:8 where he says "THE SON OF MAN IS LORD EVEN OF THE SABBATH DAY. We did not stop here we looked at all the old and New Testament scriptures where Jesus and God claim ownership of the Sabbath day to My holy day; His Holy day; My Sabbaths; Sabbath of the Lord your God; The Sabbath of the Lord from *Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5; Isaiah 58:13; Exodus 31:12-18; Leviticus 19:30; Ezekiel 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:15; Leviticus 23:3; Exodus 31:15; Exodus 20:10. Only Gods Word is true here. There is no scripture anywhere that says Sunday or the first day of the week is "the Lords day". According to the scriptures alone the only day God and Jesus claim ownership of is the Sabbath day.And no one has been able to produce where the scriptures state that the term "the Lord's day" (κυριακή ημέρα) refers to the sabbath. The term only appears once.
This is not really truthful. We cannot make anything holy. According to the scriptures it was God who blessed the seventh day and made the "seventh day" a holy day of rest for all mankind (see Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11 and Mark 2:27-28) and it is God who calls the Sabbath His holy day or My Sabbaths or Sabbath of the Lord in Isaiah 58:13; Exodus 31:12-18; Leviticus 19:30; Ezekiel 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:15; Leviticus 23:3; Exodus 31:15God never asked US to hallow the day.... or told US it was his holy day
I respectfully disagree. The meaning of κυριακή ημέρα in the Koine Greek of "the Lords day" is κυριακή (kyriakós; G2960) ημέρα (hēméra: G2250) simply means the day belonging to the Lord or the Lord's ownership of "the day". There is no scripture links to Sunday or the first day of the week in the bible in regards to "the Lords day" being Sunday or the first day of the week.God's saints to whom Revelation was addressed would have known exactly what John meant by "the Lord's day" (κυριακή ημέρα). The term was already in widespread use in Christian communities at the time to refer to Sunday, the day on which they worshipped.
