How is everyone faring this Lent so far? I have found my resolution to stop complaining quite hard so far. Somehow there seemed to be lots of things to complain about!
My parish has some workbooks for Discussion Groups this Lent, I put my name down to attend and now it looks like I'm hosting and leading a group for some women in the parish! It's been a while since I've done this sort of thing. I'm really looking forward to getting to know the other ladies on a deeper level. We've had nine months in our parish and people are very friendly, it will be good to go a bit deeper though.
Yeah, most protestant Churches to the same but without the requirements the RCC has during Lent.I didn't know thatIt's one of my favourite things about Lent.

I'm still in the fuzzy mode. No real solid plan. :o
It was too late for me. I had to follow through. I figure I'll do another day of fasting to make up for it.Oops! I nearly served meat as our main evening meal... I had to do a last minute swticharoo. My DH is working away at the moment and he had forgotten all about Lent until I called him on Ash Wednesday.
So have you made it every day so far?I was to late for Mass this morning but I wil make the lunchtime one...
