I suppose that if a dictator stepped forward today in the U.S. ;that the military would be split. I suspect that the majority of the armed people would stand with the military that was in opposition to the overthrow of our Republic.

Again, by far, more crimes are stopped with guns in the hands of the law abiding, than innocent lives are taken with them. In the vast majority of cases, not a single shot was fired. Lott demonstrated this.

I'm starting to get to the point where it's like yeah......People can't be trusted with certain firearms. Take them away except for double-barrel shotguns, bolt, action rifles, and 6-shooters. No more assault rifles, Glock 17s, Tec-9s etc.
