"Researchers have created the largest atlas of human brain cells so far, revealing more than 3,000 cell types — many of which are new to science. The work, published in a package of 21 papers today in Science, Science Advances and Science Translational Medicine, will aid the study of diseases, cognition and what makes us human, among other things, say the authors."

This is the largest map of the human brain ever made

Okay, thanks.

I had forgotten about those.
There are many diseases affecting the brain. Several more:

Epilepsy
Brain tumors, malignant and benign
Stroke
Multiple sclerosis
Various encephalitic infections—viral, bacterial, and parasitic
Progressive supranuclear palsy (which affects Linda Ronstadt)
ALS, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, (AKA, Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

And there are many more.

Edited to add: Forgot to mention Huntington’s Disease. An incurable, hereditary disorder affecting the basal ganglia. It’s what killed Woody Guthrie.
