Any attempt to equalize outcomes is at war against nature, and nature's God. Its not wrong to give to the poor and we should as the Bible commands. But the Bible never commands permanent redistribution of wealth, the giving to the poor was always for temporary issues, not to give someone a different lifestyle on a permanent basis.

Wrong. OT law commanded landowners to leave parts of their fields unharvested as a form of mandated charity to the poor.

I don't think an uneducated, ignorant, and immoral person should have the same say in government as someone who is more educated, moral, and decent. That's why I am against equality. That's why equality killed cities like Detroit.
It wasn't equality that killed Detroit, it was the automotive industry pulling up stakes and moving out.

iluvatar is right. Whether you've "deduced" it or not, stating or implying another member who identifies themselves as Christian is not Christian is against CF Rules.

Flaming and Harassment
● Do not state or imply that another member or group of members who have identified themselves as Christian are not Christian.

There is no lying for Jesus. Ever.

I am not calling anyone anything. Obvious racist statements are obvious racist statements. Why you feel the need to defend the right to make racist statements on a Christian board is odd, but I can't help what motivates you.

I was responding to a poster who said this is a common occurrence. If it is a common occurrence than well we can draw conclusions.

Are you saying there are lying Christian racists?

Good heavens - of course there are lying Christian racists (and I'm not saying creech is one). There are all kinds of Christians. Have you ever heard of the KKK?

Christian. And racist.

You called someone an atheist and now you're lying about it.

They are racist, but not Christian.

There is no such thing as a lying racist Christian. If one is a racist liar than one by definition isn't Christian.

Not sure your position is well-grounded in the Bible.

Are there any other criteria that you believe disqualifies others from claiming Christianity as their religion?

Or are you trying to demonstrate the "No True Scotsman" fallacy for us?

No true Scotsman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That the KKK isn't Christian isn't a fallacy.

Are you saying the KKK is Christian?

It wasn't equality that killed Detroit, it was the automotive industry pulling up stakes and moving out.

That is what certainly made it far more poor and disadvantaged, but it is equality that destroyed civilization in Detroit.

I'd love to hear your explanation for how that's the case.

I'm saying that the KKK is an organization with Christian members. Do I think they are acting in a manner that is in accord with the Gospels? No, I don't. But their faith is between them and their God.

I concur. I believe no matter what a person's politics, whether far-left or far-right, they can be a Christian. I do not hold the fundamentalist position that one must also accept a certain strand of politics to be a "true" Christian.

The equal say in government between an immoral, uneducated, and ignorant populace versus the moral, educated, and informed populace.

Who were immoral, uneducated, and ignorant? Be specific, so we can tell whether this is merely elitist or racist also ^_^

A majority of Detroit. I don't know if there's any better way to explain it.

The KKK has no Christian members. No real Christian joins the KKK.

Wow you really play the racism semantics. How you have so many defenders is beyond me. You so in your face with the racism. It is amazing.
