  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This topic has probably already been discussed, but i will bring it up again.

Rabbi Jonathon Cahn came to Jacksonville yesterday and spoke in the morning and evening service at a local church. This was the first time that I have heard him in person. He mostly spoke about some of the things in his book, but did mention some events that happened since the book was written. I bought on of his DVD's but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. There were just a handful of Messianic Believers in the congregation.

In both services he gave a blessing to the congregation. He placed the Tallith over his head and sang a blessing in Hebrew. In the morning service when he gave the blessing, the church just about came unglued. The anointing was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife. Really enjoyed his ministry.

How has the Harbinger been accepted in this forum?

In your opinion, is it any good, Vis?
In order to think it has any merit, you first have to believe that the NT is a global outreach and prophetic picture. If so then scripture that once was narrowly depicted to prophetically speak to just the surrounding nations of Israel can now also represent today's world of nations. This "harbinger" book is specific to America and how this man sees it in biblical prophecy. It is fascinating. I think worthy of prayer and re-evaluation of our prophetic understanding.

After giving it some thought, here is what I see.
Revelation 13:11
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Beasts are governing bodies. The lamblikeness indicates to me a similarity to Yeshua being identified as a lamb. The representatives of the governing bodies when the USA was young, were trying to emulate Yeshua. Yeshua was the attraction in His day because of the vision He presented of a wonderful world of peace and the USA is where all people of the world have come to admire as the place of safety. It was the open arms to all who are weak, the safe harbor, the freedom of religion, etc that became the foundation of the new nation. Because it came up out of the earth, it is not like those beasts that came up out of the sea. Sea being representative of a multitude of people.

This is new land not yet overrun by humans. Among the exiles who first fled to America and sought an asylum from royal state run oppression and clergy or priestly doctrinal intolerance were many who determined to establish a government upon the foundation of civil and religious liberty. The Declaration of Independence, which declares that “all men are created equal” and "endowed with the inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” The Constitution guarantees to the people the right of self-government, providing that representatives elected by the popular vote shall enact and administer these laws with these principles in mind. Freedom of religious was granted. Everyone was permitted to worship God according to the dictates of his conscience as long as it didn't harm another soul.

Republicanism and Judeo-Christianism, which I see as the two "lamblike" horns, became the fundamental principles of the nation. That is the blessings the USA received in return for this in power and prosperity. The oppressed and downtrodden throughout the old countries have turned to this land with interest and hope. Millions have sought its shores, and the United States has risen to a place among the most powerful nations of the earth.

But the beast with lamblike horns
“spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed;
....
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
The lamblike horns and dragon voice of the symbol point to a striking contradiction between the professions and the practice of the nation thus represented. I am going to suggest that the “speaking” of the nation is the action of its legislative and judicial authorities. By such action it will give the lie to those liberal and peaceful principles which it has put forth as the foundation of its policy.

The prediction that it will speak “as a dragon” and exercise “all the power of the first beast” plainly foretells a development of the spirit of intolerance and persecution that was manifested by the nations represented by the dragon and the leopardlike beast. And the statement that the beast with two horns “causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast” indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be an act of homage to the first beast. That would be the beast during the time of the disciples.

The founders of the nation wisely sought to guard against the employment of secular power towards intolerance and persecution. The Constitution provides that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” and that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” Only in flagrant violation of these safeguards to the nation’s liberty, can any religious observance be enforced by civil authority like the sharia law that is creeping in today. But the inconsistency of such action is no greater than is represented in the symbol found in Revelation as far as I can see.

With all due respect, Viz, Balderdash.

The humanitarian and religious oppression of this Spiritual Brothel called America is well documented by the gov.t itself, long before revisionist history came along.

My Native American relatives gained religious freedom per the following quoted P.L. 95-341, dated 8-11-1978. This not an opinion, it is "SETTLED LAW".
Public Law 95-341
95th Congress
Joint Resolution
American Indian Religious Freedom.
Whereas the freedom of religion for all people is an inherent right, fundamental to the democratic structure of the United States and is guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution;
Whereas the United States has traditionally rejected the concept of a government denying individuals the right to practice their religion, and as a result, has benefited from a rich variety of religious heritages in this country;
Whereas the religious practices of the American Indian (as well as Native Alaskan and Hawaiian) are an integral part of their culture, tradition, and heritage, such practices forming the basis of Indian identity and value systems;
Whereas the traditional American Indian religions as an integral part of Indian life, are indispensable and irreplaceable;
Whereas the lack of a clear, comprehensive, and consistent Federal policy has often resulted in the abridgment of religious freedom for traditional American Indians;
Whereas such religious infringements result from the lack of knowledge of the insensitive and inflexible enforcement of Federal policies and regulations premised on a variety of laws;
Whereas such laws were designed for such worthwhile purposes as conservation and preservation of natural species and resources but were never intended to relate to Indian religious practices and, there, were passed without consideration of their effect on traditional American Indian religions;
Whereas such laws and policies often deny American Indians access to sacred sites required in their religions, including cemeteries;
Whereas such laws at times prohibit the use and possession of sacred objects necessary to the exercise of religious rites and ceremonies;
Whereas traditional American Indian ceremonies have been intruded upon, interfered with, and in a few instances banned;
Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of American in Congress Assembled, That henceforth it shall be the policy of the United States to protect and preserve for American Indians their inherent right of freedom to believe, express, and exercise the traditional religions of the American Indian, Eskimo, Aleut, and Native Hawaiians, including but not limited to access to sites, use and possession of sacred objects, and the freedom to worship through ceremonials and traditional rites.
SEC. 2. The President shall direct that various Federal departments, agencies, and other instrumentalities responsible for the administering relevant laws to evaluate their policies and procedures in consultation with Native traditional religious leaders in order to determine appropriate changes necessary to protect and preserve Native American religious cultural rights and practices. Twelve months after approval of this resolution, the President shall report back to Congress the results of his evaluation, including any changes which were made in administrative policies and procedures, and any recommendations he may have for legislative action.
Approved August 11, 1978.[11]
Also, in June of 1924, we got to be citizens, per the following.

The text of the 1924 Indian Citizenship Act (43 U.S. Stats. At Large, Ch. 233, p. 253 (1924)) reads as follows:
BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and house of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That all non citizen Indians born within the territorial limits of the United States be, and they are hereby, declared to be citizens of the United States: Provided That the granting of such citizenship shall not in any manner impair or otherwise affect the right of any Indian to tribal or other property."
Approved, June 2, 1924. June 2, 1924. [H. R. 6355.] [Public, No. 175.]
SIXTY-EIGHTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. CHS. 233. 1924.
See House Report No. 222, Certificates of Citizenship to Indians, 68th Congress, 1st Session, Feb. 22, 1924.
Note: This statute has been codified in the United States Code at Title 8, Sec. 1401(b).
Thanks, it's so white of y'all.

I have watched a few videos on that Harbinger and I found it amazing. I didn't agree with everything, but I think the guy is on the right path.

But then I think everything will be brought to light and we will find out that Life only points to proving God.

Its hard for me to even consider that we have a choice because it seems that life is exactly what it is supposed to be, like we are just characters in a pre set ordained life, already chosen for us to follow, our names already known before we were even conceived in this life.

I think the signs really are everywhere, and many are very obvious.

You just can't make stuff like 9-11 up.

The so called,'' Arab Spring.''

And all the little particulars that have happened in these last few decades, things that have never happened in thousands of years, like Egypt overthrowing the president or king or whatever, never happened.

Everything is prepared and ready after all this time, and the signs are everywhere, even in the movies.

The youths are protesting both the Pope’s visit to the site, which Jews consider holy, and the reports that Israel is transferring ownership of the building to the Vatican.

Police forced their way into the building, arresting 26 people. Police claim a police car was damaged and some policemen were lightly injured when they tried to disperse the crowd. 5 protesters were lightly injured.

Last week, police arrested 2 people with anti-Pope posters, and place restraining orders on others they thought would disrupt the Pope’s visit.

Itamar Ben-Gvir who is representing some of the arrested said the police acted with brutal violence. The Jewish Press » » Riots Overnight at King David’s Tomb (Video)
