  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

?? What religious connection does the Papacy have with the western wall?

The same connection every Christian does. Reverence for the shekinah and all that. Ask a Catholic. :)

Still...I wonder if such reverence borders on idolatry- even for the Jews.

And....i'm not convinced. I see the same event being used for two different harbingers (1 & 3) and I see that these signs do not happen in order. Meaning, I can sense the events were fitted to the prophesy, not the other way around. Meaning, hindsight is 20/20.

Some interesting relationships, but I can't help being reminded of the craziness of eschatology. Even though I am interested in it. It always reads more like a sci-fi story than something supernaturally prophetic.

A prophet speaks that which is not happened yet, not fits what has happened to what will be. Sorta backwards if you ask me.

I take this in a cautionary manner, myself, if only because so many have made predictions and claimed revelations that either have failed or else have yet to come to pass. Nor I am not closed to it.

I have yet to hear Jonathan Cahn claim to be a prophet. It sounds to me like he merely noticed the manifestation of certain signs which he read about in Isaiah, Chapter 9. Signs which, to him, hinted at a future judgment.

Jonathan Cahn is preaching a message of repentance in order to avert an imminent judgment, which is falling on deaf ears in America, as we speak. Will America come under G-d's judgment in September/October of 2015, 2022 or 2029, or at any point in between? Time will tell, won't it?

A person predicting the future is a false prophet unless he is predicting what has already been predicted.

A prophet
A priest
A king

Jesus walked in these stages because he was a man.

A certain amount of time being the prophet, and then he was a priest, and then he came riding on a donkey to be introduced as a king.

Elijah didn't predict the future, he called fire down from heaven and stopped the rain by his own faith, he didn't predict that it would happen, he called on it to happen.

People running around predicting things are false prophets, and they are false prophets by design, they get stuck in being the false prophet and they never realize what spirit it is that makes their lips move.

Usually there is a correlation and enlightenment on certain aspects not covered by previous prophecies.

The spirit comes to teach all things, if a person has a spirit, it is teaching him by interaction in literally anything, the whole world will speak to him, but only to teach him, not to predict.

The first stage in any walk with God begins as a prophet, it really does.

Elijah is the least in the kingdom, and then there is Moses, and then there is Jesus.

3 stages of a walk, and these stages teach what the kingdom of heaven is within yourself.

Those two witnesses that are talked about in Revelation is what can be achieved in YOU.

I have predicted many things in my many years as the false prophet, I actually called fire down from heaven in front of 50 witnesses, I told many people secrets of themselves, and I have frightened a multitude of people.

But what does this achieve in one's walk with God?

It achieves insanity is what it achieves.

It wouldn't matter if a person predicted every hurricane, every earthquake, every bad thing, what has he achieved?

If anything happens at all, people put them up on a pedestal and they themselves reach the heights of heaven.

It is vanity, it is a spirit of false prophecy that is within us all, and we have to learn to tell the difference.

Being handed over to the devil for testing is a real thing.

If there is a prophet, he is a person who has visions and dreams for one purpose, and that purpose is only to teach him in silence.

If one has a prophecy, it is to be shared, and that prophecy is only for teaching, if a person is shown something, it is only for teaching.

But when he imagines{as we all do} that he is to tell somebody something, or he is to predict something, what is the goal of this besides vanity in trying to show somebody is a prophet?

If we teach people that being a prophet is somebody who predicts things, what is the worst outcome?

How many times have we seen the people drink coolaid?

They go up on rooftops because of a false prophet.

They shoot people and shoot themselves, and once somebody is set on believing a prophecy, you have a live bomb waiting to happen.

I didn't mean to insult anyone who is a false prophet or prophet.

It's just what my view is, that everyone has to take up the position of being that false prophet, the idea is to learn the difference between one spirit and the next, and to learn the difference between Elijah and Moses, and then to learn the difference between Moses and Jesus.

If somebody does work in the position of a prophet it just means they are moving up a ladder, and the problem is of course, that people don't realize they need to keep moving until they will say,'' I am no prophet.''

if you look for signs, you will find signs. The JW have found proofs that the world was going to end several times in the past, as did the Millerites and other fools (Heaven's Gate are a famous case). But yeah, it has to end sometime. Curious how we always think it must be in our generation. But yeah, it could happen in this generation - or the next. Or the one after that.
