I have just about zero talent at styling my hair, so it never gets styled. My hair is also straight as board and baby fine. You can't do anything with it because it won't 'hold' the style.
Yes, for some time I did color my hair but not any longer. I'm too health conscious of using the chemicals on my hair/scalp, plus it makes my hair very, very dry. So I quit a few years ago. My natural color is almost totally back, which is reddish blonde.
I'm the same way with my hair.. I have zero talent. My hair is so long now though I can wrap it in a bun without even using any clips though. I feel kind of proud of myself.
I get excited whenever I find a silver hair. Most of the time they end up being blonde... I'm convinced I have at least one though.
My hair is alright. I have never dyed it. But maybe in the future if I feel like it. I try not to do anything that will damage it. Brushing it has a chance of damaging it so I also avoid that. I prefer my hair long. I sometimes watch hair style tutorials but I usually don't really do anything fancy with my hair. I should though.
I've only ever found 2 gray/silver hairs, lol. Conveniently one was found on one of my birthdays. That was just lovely.
My hair is thicker, and and I have to comb or brush it or else it will turn into this knot. I didn't realize it until it was too late. It was near the back of my scalp and the more I tried to tug and untie it, it just got worse. I actually had to cut under my hair to get it loose. Thankfully though you can't even see where I've cut.
I seriously want it cut shorter now (not too short) though so I don't get into that fix again.
I once dyed my hair blond.
Oh yeah, and how did that turn out?
lol, but to stay on topic: I don't like to mess with my hair much, prefer to keep it short and like to use hair spray to keep it in place. As for facial hair, I do like the short boxed beard style.
That sounds simple and nice.

and yay for scruff!
I never know what to do with it and it's always a sloppy mess. I always just air dry it and sometimes it looks ok, most times not really. But I do want to get it long.
Your hair is awesome.
I grew my hair long when I left school, as did a few of my friends, since we were no longer required to have it short. I kept it long through most of my studies but towards the end I cut it partly because I got tired of the upkeep, especially since my hair curls and I live in a windy city, so getting tangled was a regular occurrence, but also because I felt that it's not the best hairstyle to have when approaching prospective employers.
These days my hair is thinning, so growing it long isn't really an option anymore. So I keep it short, using clippers every so often, which is the only maintenance required.
Wow only maintenance required. That's a wonderful thing.
The only thing I have to do with my hair basically is brush it (and you know, wash it from time to time.

) But still it's a hassle with long hair. My arms get tired after awhile. lol
I have wavy hair and I'm not exactly happy with how it looks sometimes, but I don't really bother with styling it or anything. I usually just let it grow long and then get it cut shorter after a while. I keep my natural color (brown).
My hair is also very thick. I don't need anything to keep my ears warm in the winter because my hair does that job lol.
Lol! That is true! Which actually I need to remember we're coming up on cooler, windier months so maybe I shouldn't cut my hair too short or thin it out any. I need my earmuffs.
I have so thick hair. I don't think I have to be concerned about going bald (maybe grey) I have to keep it cut often. Unfortunately, (as much as I would like) I can't seem to wear longer hair well. I'm looking to experiment with different style soon. But usually I get the barber to cut it with a blade 5 on the top with a 3 blade on the sides (blended)
I've seen your hair, it looks really nice and I like the way you get it styled!
I love my hair. One of the few good features I actually have lol. It's naturally black and grows SUPER fast. Right now I'm growing it out longer to see how it looks.
How do you feel about it now that it's longer? Would you go much longer?
Any hairstyles y'all like on the opposite gender?
I will get to that in a new post!
I have really dark brown (looks black most of the time), curly hair. I have 3 a/b curls, if you speak curl language LOL. It's taken a
long time but it has grown out longer these past few years. But that length has cost me a lot of time and effort caring for my hair. I have wondered if I wouldn't like a shorter cut. Nothing too short, but short by my standards I guess (shoulder length). For now, I'm too chicken to do it because of the time it took to get this long.
In terms of maintenance... I won't go into it for your sakes. But just trust me when I say, curly life ain't easy.
I don't speak curl language butttt I feel like I know what you're saying.
I'm right there with you. It took forever to get my hair to where it is now. And honestly my hair seemed to grow really fast and then by 2014 it just got reallllly slow. Freaked me out! So now I'm just like "idk if I wanna cut it".
A big hassle that I've said a few times already that I run into is tangles and knots. And they seem to be getting worse as I get older and I don't know what that's about.
