All you have is a faith, which, according to you, is foolish.
If you wish, you can check for yourself whether or not they represent widely accepted knowledge - you wouldn't want to take Brightmoon's or my word for it, would you? Isn't faith is better reserved for things that can't be checked?
Of course, you can always claim that any knowledge you would rather not be true is fake, wrong, or a conspiracy, but then it would be your word (some bloke on the internet with a demonstrably poor knowledge of the subject) against verifiable scientific fact... Which version do you think a reasonable person should consider more likely to be factual?
