ok

here is my response
There is no evolution .

What a shame about all that bothersome EVIDENCE that disagrees with you....

Besides which, this discussion is more focused on one particular aspect; namely, the history of the theory...........

At around 01:44, she says the words, "evolution had occurred," not "evolution has been observed."

If she wants us to cater to evolution because others say it has occurred, when in fact it has never been observed, then she has another thing coming.

I'm not expecting a very substantive answer, but perhaps you can explain a few things to me.
1. Why do whales have a broken gene package for hind legs if they didn't evolve from terrestrial ancestors?
2. Why do all primates, including humans, share a broken GULO gene?
3. Why do humans and chimpanzees share 203,000 endogenous retroviral insertions?

That should be more than enough for now.

She makes it very clear that she is commenting upon the HISTORY of evolutionary theory, not upon the validation of its evidence....

Just let me know if there's anything else that needs explaining for you.......

1. For the same reason Fords and Dodges have Michelin tires.
2. For the same reason Fords and Dodges have broken tail lights.
3. For the same reason Fords and Dodges have dents and scratches in the same place.

Notice I'm using the word "have," instead of "share"?

Then what is it she wants?

Is someone changing the history of the theory of evolution or something?

It was wrong back then, and it's still wrong today.

Very well.....more explanation obviously required.....please pay attention.

The common claim from your ilk is that evolutionary theory has been 'a theory in crisis' for much of its existence. In contrast, she points out that, as early as the 1870's, the theory was widely accepted in the scientific community. Additionally, the claim is made that it relied solely on fossil evidence. She points out that this is not so.

Is there anything else that you can't think through for yourself.....?

What a joke......!

Show me a "Dodge and Ford" which have scratches in exactly the same place.......200,000 of them...!

And then show me that ALL Dodges and Fords have those 200,000 scratches in exactly the same place....!

So ... what ... does ... she ... want?

Does she want us to bleed? apologize? admit we're wrong about creationism? throw ourselves into the nearest volcano? what?

(And for the record, thanks for clarifying. She talks fast and slick, and my comprehension ain't that great.)

How about you show me where they share common traits.

I'll go back and watch it again.

I don't know why ... but I will.
Kay.

Watched it again.

She seems miffed that Christians are challenging Darwin's theory; and since Christians don't come to a consensus of opinion about their own beliefs, they aren't qualified to tell Darwin he's wrong.

And that by challenging Darwin, Christians seem to be adding confusion to students who really want to learn what it is all about.

Is that what you got from it, Steve?

If so, she can take a hike.

It looks like she wants legislation or something to make it illegal to challenge evolution on non-scientific terms.
